For anyone who thinks Sabeleye V would be a bigger multiplier, it’s not so. Sableye can only do 60x30 or so since a Pokémon can only have between 30-40 damage counters on them (each damage counter is worth 10 damage, easy mistake). Indeedee’s multiplier is 60x60+ which is almost twice Sableye’s! If anyone has a recipe for a bigger damage attack I would love to see it!!

I did the math, and the Falinks got 16380 damage taken among six, so each “falink” took 2730 damage. They’ve just dead up died, pretty sure not even a Max Revive could bring them back.

Incineroar GX with big Charm, 270 damages, uses Darkest Tornado GX on a Gengar Tag Team weak to Dark Type : {(270x50)+10}x2 = 27020 damages. You can add more damages If you want Using your tech (Leon, Band, weaknessx4, spider, incineroar+30) I think It might goes around 54 200 IT’S OVER 9000 !!!

This is why I love PTCGO. Who cares about those tourney winning gameplays everyone is showing off when you can see an Indeedee hitting for 16000+ damage! This is the stuff we live for. Had me on the brink of my seat waiting to see it all played out. That was fun to watch! :)

Theoretically if you were to use the coalossal from battle styles with it's coal cannon attack it adds 90 damage for each energy (assuming you only get heads with all your coin flips). It would take three cards to get a fully evolved coalossal, then three cards for the lake trio, and one card you will have to leave locked in your prize cards, leaving you with a deck that has 53 energy. You can make four of those double energy for 57 total energy, then one being a triple acceleration energy on the very last turn, leaving you with a total of 59 energy. On a 4 times weak pokemon that is 21,240 damage. Sadly it is a little hard to flip heads 59 times in a row.

Look up “Pokemon TCG competitive” they hit a 69k. It was done with Mew-EX

I think I found an even bigger attack, but it's gonna require going all the way back to the old-school "Rocket-on" format (and a lot of lucky coin flips). By taking advantage of the raw damage output of Dark Charizard (Team Rocket #4), which is theoretically capable of dealing up to 5600 damage on its own with its Continuous Fireball attack, we can effectively quadruple this damage by exploiting the powers of Porygon (Team Rocket #48), Rocket's Hitmonchan (Gym Heroes #11), and-of all things-Misty's Psyduck (Gym Challenge #90). Basically, after changing the Weakness of Misty's Psyduck to Fire with Porygon's Conversion 1 attack, we can use Psyduck's ESP attack to copy the effects of Crosscounter from Rocket's Hitmonchan-and, after attaching 54 Fire Energy cards to a Charmander (Team Rocket #50) on the Bench, we can use a Pokémon Breeder (Legendary Collection #102) to evolve it straight into Dark Charizard, which attacks the Psyduck with Continuous Fireball, flipping 54 heads after 54 coin flips for maximum damage (50*54 = 2700 damage, and because we changed Psyduck's Weakness to Fire, this gets doubled to 5400). Although Misty's Psyduck only has 60 HP, it doesn't actually matter, because the text of Crosscounter states that it still comes into effect even if the Pokémon using it would get Knocked Out by the Defending Pokémon's attack. On top of that, it _also_ states that whatever damage Psyduck takes will get paid back _double_ (5400*2=10800)-and since Dark Charizard is already weak to Water, this gets doubled once again (10800*2=21600). Technically, we could increase this damage a little bit more (21600+21640) by attaching four Darkness Energy (Neo Genesis #104) cards to Misty's Psyduck, but since Darkness Energies were basically poisonous to any non-Darkness Pokémon back in those days, you'd have to run several upkeep cards like Berry (Neo Genesis #99), Gold Berry (Neo Genesis #93), and Moo-Moo Milk (Neo Genesis #101) to prevent losing the Psyduck to all the residual damage. You might think Misty (Gym Heroes #18) could help bring the damage total further, as well, but I'm not so sure about that, because Crosscounter is one of those weird attacks that is only active during your opponent's turn, and the way Misty's effect is worded makes me believe that the damage buff it provides is meant to wear off as soon as your turn ends. I think 54 Fire Energies is the hard limit for Dark Charizard in this scenario. The six cards in the deck that are not attachable Fire Energy are #1. the Dark Charizard itself, #2. the Porygon, #3. the Rocket's Hitmonchan, #4. the Charmander from Team Rocket, #5. the Pokémon Breeder, #6. the final Prize card that we can't pick up without ending the game. As far as I'm aware, this is the end of the road-pretty much all of these cards are essential for the strategy to work-though, I suppose you could run a Dark Charmeleon (Team Rocket #32) over Breeder if you really wanted. The reason you'd use the Charmander from the Team Rocket set, rather than the one from the Legendary Collection, is because of its Pokémon Power. Gather Fire allows you to take the Fire Energy you had to attach to Porygon to change Psyduck's Weakness earlier (which should still be there, because Porygon has no Retreat Cost) and re-attach it to the Charmander. That's one Fire Energy-we need to attach 53 more. In order to attach that many, the player on the Misty's Psyduck side must use the following Trainer cards: - Imposter Oak's Revenge (Team Rocket #76) - The Rocket's Trap (Gym Heroes #19) - Lt. Surge's Treaty (Gym Heroes 112) - Here Comes Team Rocket! (Team Rocket #15) Oak's Revenge and Rocket's Trap will pare the Charizard player's hand down to ensure that every Fire Energy gets attached the moment it's drawn-but these cards, of course, should only be used when the Charizard player has a Charmander in play and has taken five Prize cards first. Four Treaties are used to take Prize cards without having to engage in any battles, except for one-to take the fifth Prize, the Charizard player should allow the Porygon to Knock Out something with Psybeam; this will require attaching three Energies, but remember that Charmander will always be able to take them back with Gather Fire. To avoid decking out, you'd have to use cards like Sabrina's Mr. Mime (Gym Heroes 94), or anything that allows you to return stuff to the deck. There could be more efficient ones, but as long as the Psyduck player's deck never gets smaller than the Charizard player's deck, it shouldn't really matter. Lastly, a copy of HCTR can be used to make sure nothing important wound up in the Prize pool. Lastly-and this is the weirdest part of the whole process-after allowing Misty's Psyduck to copy Crosscounter from Rocket's Hitmonchan, the Charizard player will not have any way of getting the Hitmonchan back to the Bench without spending a card, so the Psyduck player must use a Pokémon capable of Poisoning the Rocket's Hitmonchan at JUST the right moment-preferably with an attack that deals 10 base damage, because its HP is an even number-and let it reach 10 HP _just_ before letting Misty's Psyduck use ESP. The best card for the task would seem to be Weedle (Legendary Collection 99). Not only would this allow the Psyduck to copy Crosscounter just before the Hitmonchan would be Knocked Out between turns, it would also allow the Charizard player to freely dispose of the Hitmonchan without having to waste another card-granting one last attachable Fire Energy for Dark Charizard to utilize. After it's all said and done, the Dark Charizard should have 54 Fire Energy cards attached to it-and there should be no way to boost this any further. As for the odds of flipping a coin 54 times and getting 54 heads in a row + the 3 heads required for ESP to work properly, that would be 1 in 144 quadrillion. The Rulings Compendium was extensively checked to make sure I was getting these card effects exactly right. *TL;DR* *Using cards from the Rocket-on format, Misty's Psyduck is capable of dealing 21,640 damage under the right conditions.*

Watching this live was the best thing that's happened to me this year

Sableye V on Galarian Stunkfish V with the right Deck it can hit for a 6 (!) Digit number. Approximately for about 300.000. All you need is Metal energies and Galarian Stunkfish V gains 20HP for each Metal energy attached to it, so by having 57 energies and a Cape of Toughness, it has exactly 1.210HP so Sableye V hits it for 72.610 without any damage boost, and with that Porygon card you can make Stunkfish's weakness being Dark, which with the lake guardians becomes ×4, so you have 290.440 damage if my calculations are right, and all that with no damage boosts! You should give it a try

I was excited to figure out the max in Expanded but then I realized Naganadel GX UNM's GX attack with Vaporeon AOR and Misty and Lorelai means you can make your opponent take as many prizes as you want and then use an attack that does damage for the amount of prizes they've taken. Just make it so you can't deck and you've got an unlimited amount of damage that doesn't need flips.= What is the max finite amount of damage though?
