Nice video and I don't know if you want to hear all of this, but I just wanted to go over a few of the things that happened. Firstly, while I agree with your gripe about level 1 bash being unsafe it makes some sense when you take the rest of the move into account. All other variations of the bash are incredibly safe. It feints back to neutral very quickly and the level 3 variant can be feinted if you see your opponent is not going to be hit by it. Also, as we saw against the one of the Shaolin players if the level 3 is dodged on the latest dodge timing your guard-break will whiff. And as far as the damage matrix goes most outcomes of the mix up are in the Warden's favor except for the 15 vs 24 on a dodged level 1 bash. All other outcomes guaranteeing 24-27 plus frame advantage. Speaking of frame advantage please stop saying it after a guard-break tech as it results in a frame neutral interaction. And regarding the Berserker player complaining about Warden, it was a skill issue. He was trying to play passively against Warden which is how you lose to him. Warden has the best tool in the game for opening someone up at the downside of having pretty weak defensive options so when you let him control the pace of match you are going to lose. In fact, the round he almost won was the one he was attacking the most. Lastly, the Berserker player's little comment about read-based moves being boring was ironic seeing as how an absence of read-based moves, or un-reactable moves, results in players just staring at each other.

Ok.. now my turn, idk if you wanna hear THIS. Firstly, I didn't 'complain' about anything, all I did was state facts and justify my reasoning for being hesitant to use the move, which is all true, just a ME thing and I'm definitely not 'griping' and saying it's bad because warden is insane. Second, I say frame advantage because you actually ARE frame advantaged after a counter GB, so you gotta go do your research on that bit, came out in a patch, I dare say almost a year ago now, if you'd like to test it, go ahead and have someone spam GB on you and then you throw a heavy after countering, or just go watch the warriors den on how they made it frame advantaged for 1 frame. ;) And yes read-based moves are needed but an excess can be boring at times, like in warden's case as you just stated him being so safe. Edit: another way to test it is you and a friend both play the same character, then have them GB you, immediately after counter-GB both of you spam heavy, the player who countered will always land first and it will not result in a trade unless hyper armor is involved, or you buffer a guard-switch. :)

Well, it looks my statement about Warden was interpreted a little differently than I intended. I was just trying to explain what makes him strong and why level 1 bash is unsafe as well as what leads to players being frustrated when facing him. Your commentary made it seem like you did not understand the character fully which was unfair seeing as you were focusing on playing and talking at the same time, so I shouldn't've dissected what you said so intensely. Next, regardless of whether or not what actions are plus after a guard-break tech it is still redundant and a bit annoying saying it every time it happens. How often does it occur when after a guard-break tech both players decide to buffer a heavy anyways.

@@evilwickedmarqi5949 well people like to double GB, and that counters a double GB as well (it’ll bounce off), and on top of that if they go for a bash it’ll interrupt them (except for fast bashes, BP, WL etc.), AND most people think you’ll light so you just get free damage if they go for a parry, plus if they decide not to parry then it’s a free way to get into your chain, nothing but benefits. I will say yeah I say it a lot but it’s more of a inside joke of my channel, it’s kinda my thing, I say frame advantage a lot and people like it normally. But yes, I fully understand the character and every other character as I’ve been at the very top of duels in skill for quite some time now. For a first time viewer (if that’s the case), I can understand your perspective though. But just take a gander at my stats or even other videos and you’ll see where my understanding lies.

Today, as Kensei, I took on a rep 70 Orochi in rank battle and smoked him. I'm starting to wonder if Orochi sucks or if im just that good with Kensei lol

Orochi is definitely not good but rep 70s are ALWAYS kinda shifty and hard to get a grasp on, especially Orochis so well done brother!
