It's sad when someone sez, "I had a unique childhood growing up...I spent 90% of my time outdoors/outside"...UNIQUE???...maybe for today's kid...it was the standard for most 80's kids...and prior.

My family was in a religious cult when I was a kid growing up in the late 90s and early 2000s and we weren’t allowed to have t.v. Video games etc and I spent most of my time outside growing up. Except for the growing up in a cult it was a great time growing up enjoying the outdoors.

What part of Tn. I moved from Texas to Tn. about 25 years ago. I worked on a ranch up in Montana back in the 70's & those winters up in that part of the world are pretty durn harsh. Beautiful country but as an old man today I just could handle the cold. I always liked Jackson Hole & Cheyenne.

No Winchester. Outdoor spaces are indeed beautiful! There is hardly any land that doesn’t hold hidden dangers. You never know for sure when or where it’s liable to pop up.
@orion7741

when you live in the land and become one with the land as she is, you come to find that the "hidden dangers" that you speak only exist in the city slickers minds.... there are really not many dangers out in the wild, that is just what people like to think that dont spend much time in the wilderness.

Hi, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
