It was a battle of two of the best in the world - two time Candidates winner Ian Nepomniachtchi took on 5-time World Champion Vishy Anand at the 4th round of the Levitov Chess Week 2023 in Amsterdam. The game was filled with a lot of strategic moments where both players used all their experience to showcase some high quality chess. In the end it was a blunder that decided the fate of this encounter with both players smiling on the game coming to an end.

Without Magnus Carlsen Vishy would have still given all the GMs a run for their money and would have had 7 or 8 Championship titles.. But since Magnus is from another planet, our Tiger left the active chess play since he doesnt like to be second to anyone

If you are thinking 18:31 it is a fork then seee because of that pawn at d4 he can’t go for a fork To anyone who just came to last 5 min of the video skipping all the part The pawn at d4 will move *up* in the board (reference to digital board) not down 😂

Because white rook eats up black knight with a tempo on king. Cornering the black king on upper left. It might seem like a fork with blacks knight is available but black can't do so because of constant checks by white rook on 7th row.
