I think a lot of people think the best music is the hardest to play or has the best beat and rhythm or whatever. But if people think that way, they're missing the most important part. It's all about the FEELING you get from listening to it. That Cello Guy is very very good at getting his feelings across through his music. Well done!

It's a long road to learn an instrument at this level, I have been playing stringed instruments for about 7 years and I'm now a junior at my high school and also the first chair bassist, though I could also be the second chair violist I like the bass allot more. It's a long road and the cello may not be the thing for you. I just takes a while to find

I made the decision at an 'older' age as well, after seeing the range and different uses of this perfect instrument (by various artists). I have not regretted it. Sure, it's a very long road, trust me I know. Heck, it can be very frustrating... But if you are motivated and practise loads (with guidance of a teacher) you get to enjoy and feel the music resonate through your body. I feel like cello is really one of those instruments from which you only get what you are willing to put in yourself. So yes it is frustrating, but if you put in the effort it is a very grateful and rewarding instrument. SO the best of luck!
