We did find a mortality this morning...this is day 15 for this flock...so a loss on day 6 & a loss on day 15...this one looked like it got itself trapped under other birds. No indication of poor health or prior distress. That's always discouraging to me. I try to remember it could be worse, but it's a bummer. Overall, the flock looks great. I'm going to try to catch the video uploads up to where we're closer to real time with our uploads. I get dates mixed up trying to think back to different production points than we're at in real time. How's the weather going down there for y'all? We had a real hot spell, about a week of it, & we're now in the 80's...the hot spell was a bit too hot for this flock's age & stage at the time, but right now we're getting weather that matches up real well with their ambient temperature preference. Luckily temperatures cooled down, so the birds have been comfortable with the temperatures.
