www.englishanyone.com/speak-fl... Start expressing yourself clearly and confidently in English today with our complete 6 month fluency training video course! :)
Even if you don't live in an English speaking country.
No matter how old you are.
And even if you've struggled to get fluent many times without success (like I did)...
If you're like millions of English learners around the world, your story probably sounds a lot like this one:
"I can read, write and understand English lesson videos quite easily, but it's really difficult to understand the words and accents of native speakers in person and on TV... And my speaking is awful! I'm so frustrated because I can't express myself with good pronunciation in spoken English like I can in my own language. I become really nervous and embarrassed in conversations. I forget words, make many grammar mistakes, and I often have to spend time thinking and translating in my head before speaking. I don't want to feel intimidated or helpless anymore. How can I understand real, spoken English and become a great speaker??"
I get personal, emotional letters and comments like this every day from...
Students who struggle with traditional English learning methods in classrooms...
Parents who don't understand their English speaking children...
Job seekers and employees who can't get the position they want...
Executives and business owners who can't express themselves confidently in English with co-workers and clients...
Retired professionals who want to use English NOW without learning boring grammar rules...
Each person has a different, unique story, but they all share a common problem: they're not living the life they want because their English level holds them back.
Another group of learners, however, is experiencing more English speaking success and confidence than they ever thought possible. They're studying LESS while learning MORE, and using unconventional strategies to overcome the fears they have of speaking English.
They've begun a journey that will lead to incredible opportunities for the rest of their lives. And today, I'll invite you to join them...
Hi there. I'm Drew Badger, author, English speaking confidence expert and co-founder of EnglishAnyone.com. My online video lessons have been viewed more than two million times, and I was recently featured on the world's first massive open online teacher training course for English educators -- where I taught over 2,000 English teachers from around the world.
The most important thing I want you to know about me, however, is that I began my journey to becoming a highly experienced teacher as an extremely confused and frustrated language learner, just like you...
Learn the whole story of my journey to fluency, discover the 5 Poisons of traditional English learning methods, and begin learning real, native English the right way with my Fluency Bridge method at www.englishanyone.com/master-e...

That's so true! I watched this video and found that's exactly the way I feel like, standing on a plateau from where I don't seem to move over to a native fluency level. I wish so badly that I could move over. I've been studying English for 12 years by now, and I've been struggling all the way to understand real native spoken English, and sometimes I feel so frustrated because I can't follow it. It was easy for me to understand you, because you speak kind of slowly and use easy language. I love English so much. And my dream is to speak it as fluently as a native speaker. I'm planning to stay abroad for sometime so that I can pick up my speaking and listening abilities. Also I have trouble when it comes to speak. I don't feel enough confident to strike up a converstation in a real situation, but I can read and write very well. I wish I could be just as good at listening and speaking. I'd also like to say that you're the best teacher I've met so far. You seem to know exactly what foreign students need to know.

Hi there. After over a year of hard studying I can at last express my self in English and understand mostly what people are saying. Of course I make tons of errors and don't realize that but I think it's common on my level. I've focused on listening comprehension. At the beginnig I've been listening to simple recordings attached to my textbooks. After short period of time I've started to listen to podcasts and youtube channels about language learning (like this one). Of course it wasn't easy. I was struggling a lot. Step by step I got to the level when I can listen to native speakers vblogs, tv documentaries (especially about subjects that are interesting to me and I'm familiar with vocabulary) and so on. Listening comprehension of native speakers is still challenging to me but mostly because of slang and idiom expressions. And now I'm going to reveal one of the most annoying issue in language learning! I'm able to understand you without any problem (when you speeded up for a moment in this video it was still easy to understand) but I feel all the time that I CAN"T REPEAT WHAT I'M HEARING! I know what you are talking about, I know meaning of every single word and even grammar rules but can't repeat without hesitation any longer sentence. That drives me crazy! I hope you will catch my point and won't laugh too long while reading my miserable attempt to express myself in English :-D Take care :-) P.S. I'm glad that I didn't give up in half of my way. It was worth. I feel that after another year of studying I'll be able pass this bloody textbook-native gap and feel comfortable. Anyway persistence is crucial to master any language.

Your method is amazing, I have just found your videos and it seems to me the best way to learn and the answer is yes, I believe in the fade :). I really think that my problem is the same that you have explained in this video, it's really frustrating having mistakes when you have been studying English for ages or can't understand a conversation between natives, that's why I can't say 'thank you' enough :). Hi Drew, thank you very much for helping us so much to improve our English studies. Let me share with you what I do in order to think always in English instead of translating into Spanish: While studying English, I study another language like Italian by using English instead of Spanish in order to undestand both languages at the same time. This is great for me since I learn how to be thinking in English and not in my native language. Blessings, Fr. Miguel, from Colombia.

I believe learning any language is challenging 'cause you actually must learn two or more "versions" or "variants" of it, that is to say, "standard language" as spoken in TV news or academic institutions (the easy one), the "written language" which is quite formal depending upon the audience you are addressing (e.g. academic paper, pesonal letter, etc.) and "street language" in which you not only face slangs, verbal phrases, idioms, proverbs, and chunks phrases just to mention a few, but also mispronountiations, mumbling, and chunk words (incomplete words) that make your pull your hair out... So, it´s not just english, but any other language, I think...
