@@hobbeenell1671 yeah, I know that it has more mods, but mods like tweakeroo, replay mod, litematica... Are just for fabric and I don't really use modpacks. I just prefer fabric. And no forge is not better, it's easier to program with fabric

@@TheGulfryd Exactly, I've used forge for a long time, but I've recently switched to fabric and I don't regret it. I do like both platforms, both are different, and that is good, it would be quite boring if both were the same just with another name.

There are already many datapacks making use of the new support for custom world generation through datapacks in 1.16. Some of them are actually quite amazing and feel pretty similar to actual mods, so maybe you could cover this in one of your videos. Just a suggestion, keep up the good work!

Traverse is an amazing world Gen mod. It's add a lot of biomes that is faithful to vanilla minecraft. Traverse is also lightweight so I can play on my potato computer. If this list has honorable mention traverse definitely will be there

I wish there was a way to combine new biomes like the ones provided in Biomes O' Plenty (some realistic biomes and some more fantasy type ones) WITH a terrain generator that provides more realistic generation. Because I love all of the things BOP provides but hate that it uses vanilla terrain generation. Like I want spectacular mountain-scapes and other breathtaking features along with all of those new blocks and the slight fantasy type element that BOP provides. I don't feel confident enough yet to just try and make my own mod. Maybe if no one else has done that by the time I feel ready. I'd want people to be able to mix and match so they could play with their favorite biome mod AND have better terrain generation.

I'm super happy to see WildNature so high. It's honestly the most impressive mod I've ever seen, and it has even bigger plans ahead. However, there are definitely a few mistakes. It adds a lot more than 131 new biomes; it does NOT add new mobs currently (although it's planned in the future); also, how can you possibly mention WN without mentioning the underground rivers?? They are the coolest thing I've ever seen added to the game. Honestly, I think Mr. Squat skipped over it a bit too quickly there, especially for something ranked #2.

Oh The Biomes You'll Go is actually my favorite one. there's some really pretty biomes and everything is so huge and colourful. even the nether looks really good in the mod. it's like an expansion of the nether update

Mod suggestion! Hey, you should totally check out MC Lord of the Rings mod. I see you don't usually cover mods with content from licensed products (e.g. movies and stuff), but this mod is very, very impressive and quite popular as well. It's been in development since 2013 (still is!), and has an immense amount of content and an active fanbase. Currently the full version is available on 1.7.10 only, but they are undergoing a process where they're updating everything to 1.15. Great videos you're uploading! :)

Terraforged is the only mod I play with now. Massive fields, big valleys, creeks turn into rivers, and rivers always lead to a bigger water mass like a lake or ocean. Horses are actually worth using. I have that train mod that lets me make trains going across all the beautiful world gen. I only wish it changed how saplings grew.

There's a compatability bridge between terraforged and the Dynamic Trees mod. it's a bit of an extreme change to trees but it might include a lot of the features you're looking for

My man William wyther's never gets recognized for his awesome mod/datapack. William wyther's overhauled overworld - I like it because it feels like these big beautiful mods but toned down a tad, more "pastoral" in a way, and it's great for building because you get a lot more big plains (ik that sounds lame but the way they generate along rivers and the colors the terrain uses are so pretty). I get lost following the waterways and natural harbors and imagine them as trade routes and river hubs. The landscape just feels like a hand-built map of continents with scenic locations begging to be settled - cliffside lookouts and realistic diverse deserts (not just one big boring sea of sand, but spattered with grass and stone and sparse/browning but rich vegetation. It looks awesome with connected textures like the Better Building texture pack. I like combining wwoo and better building with dynamic trees and some structure add ons like Towns and Towers to fill those beautiful expanses and give building inspiration.
