I'm not a preds or a habs fan, but PK should not be hated by anyone, hes done so much for hockey and has touched so many lives around him especially in Montreal. He doesnt have a reputation for being dirty or whining and sure he over-celebrates but so does half the league and he will celebrate harder than anyone on your team even if hes the one that didnt score.

Good list! I hate Chara for another reasom that you did not mention and that is because he gets away with most penalties out of any player. He makes contact with the head ever single time he throws and hit and it is not just because he is so tall. He will literally go aim for it and the refs always overlook it. If he ever gets beat on the outside he is 100% giving that player a good slash, which also never gets called

I don't have a dog in the fight with the current crop. Once upon a time, half of the Flyers' roster would have been up for the 'award.' Being a Flyers fan, Tomas Sandstrom was my all-time villain. It seemed like every shift he would be shoving his stick in nasty places, and by the time the officials had noticed, he was in a turtle position. Finally, Dave Brown really DID hurt him, and not only was he suspended (justifiably) but so was the Flyers announcing crew for their lack of sympathy. This "Top 10" is always going to be personal among hockey fans.

I Heard Kesler was mean to a sales furniture guy in Vancouver. Apparently he's not well-liked by many in person.

Crosby is one of the best to have played the game, but sometimes he didn’t play the game the way it should be played. E.g. diving, crying, not getting called for anything you get the idea. That’s why he’s on this list

I have a feeling the guy who made this list is a fan himself. Marchand and Chara aren`t that much hated outside of rival teams fanbases. I know a lot of guys who like the power and pride they put into their game. And Chara isn`t a dirty hitting player. He hits hard, sure, but look at him, every hit with a little speed of this guy feels like a truck hitting you.
