There was more than enough room in the oven for a cookie sheet 😂. Misogyny belongs in the middle of last century. Faye, you and shop Dad Danny give the kind of content I look for. Thank you to you both for the constant entertainment. I just wish you had more regular projects.

I can't begin to understand those folks that are telling you to get back in the kitchen... I enjoy watching what you do both on your own and with Danny. Not only are you simply beautiful, but I have the outmost respect for your curiosity, willingness to learn, and all the while smiling, contagiously laughing and how much fun you are having sharing your passions with us viewers ! Keep going Faye, you always put a huge smile on my face whenever you post something new. ❤

My dad hates aluminum, but he's not an expert machinist like Danny is! Luckily though, his best friend Clarence is a machinist who loves aluminum, so we have him to help. I agree about the oven. We have a toaster oven at our shop. We rebuild dash switches for vintage Chrysler vehicles and inside the dash light dimmer switches is a circular rheostat made of ceramic with a coil of wire as a heating element. This coil of wire is famous for coming unglued over time, so when we rebuild the switch, we re glue the element with muffler cement and bake these rheostats in the oven to harden the muffler cement. It's a simple but effective method to ensure you have paradise by the dashboard lights (any other Meatloaf fans out there? LOL) for the next fifty years. Don't listen to those sexist comments. They're just people with nothing better to do. Keep up the great work!

Hey Faye, another absolutely fantastic video. so many things to say incredible fab so much great information but the thing that struck me, was the back in the kitchen comment or unbelievably comments, how could anybody say that even jokingly. I recently read a book about Elvis and some national music credit I can’t remember his name which should tell you something, this guy actually said when Elvis was just becoming popular and I quote ‘Mr. Presley has no apparent singing ability’ just goes to show how wrong somebody can be. you and Danny are inspiring. What could be better than that, have a great one.🐔🐔🐔👍

Infrared temperature sensors read the IR radiation emitted to determine temperature. Their accuracy is dependent on the emissivity setting of the IR thermometer matching the emissivity of the material and surface being measured. The range is 0 to 1 with a black body reaching the top at 1.0, ice at 0.97, most organics emit at 0.95 and polished aluminum won't emit it's cooking hot with its emissivity way down to even just 0.9ish. The factory default setting is commonly 0.95 to match most organics but can be adjusted by following the manual. The IR thermometer is a receiver like a camera and the red laser dot is just a convenience for targeting with the measurement taken over an area. Just something to consider when temperature accuracy is critical.
