It might sound fishy ... but this luxurious caviar pizza really does cost $1,000. The extravagant Italian pie is the creation of New York restauranteur Nino Selimaj, owner of Nino's Belissima in Manhattan. Most of the price-tag comes in the hefty serving of caviar which tops the pizza, which in itself costs $820.

Lol I'm in italy right now with friends discussing wine and italian food. I pulled this video up for them. Well outside of the oven being wrong the comment on the base etc etc made them choke with laughter. Thankfully I am here researching italian cuisine and the finest of wines. I think I'll pass on on this $1000 delicacy and immerse myself in the finest of cultural cuisine here in Iraly.

The flavor of the ingredients does not really equal the price. Those micro thin slices of lobster are the only balancing against the absolutely overwhelming array of salt that you'd get from all of those various forms of caviar. Dear god.
