So I was watching The Green Mile last night, and wound up working my way down the Wikipedia rabbit hole. I found myself reading about the tradition of the 'last meal' for inmates on death row, and came across this guy who ordered the craziest final meal ever.
In fact it was so crazy, they subsequently banned the tradition in Texas! Let's see if I can make my way through over 12,000 calories of stuff!

Good evening people! Just a fun little idea I got while watching The Green Mile last week...Kind of morbid, but it seemed like a good idea in my head! Also, I apologise to the people who thought 'FINAL MEAL' in the title meant I was quitting...I won't quit while there's air in my lungs and fire in my belly, metaphorically speaking of course ;) Thanks for watching, I've been blown away by everyone's support lately. Its just crackling, It’s essentially cooked flour and seasoning that’s caught in the filter box, it is drained and stored in a chiller until needed or for five days, whichever comes first. It’s mixed with a three step gravy mix and water. Pretty standard way to make gravy, not like the instant powder stuff that makes gravy in like 30 secs

Okra is a green vegetable also known as Ladies Fingers. They stick them in Sainsbury's in the UK. Apparently they can be a bit snot textured if you don't cut the seeds out. In terms of Death Row meals apparently it depends on the state and local policy as to what you can get. Some are subject to availability, some have a fixed budget and some places don't give the condemned anything different to what they would have been given anyway.

You should contact Paul Senior who owns the Death Row Diner in Liverpool to see if you can do something there, the food is amazing but the milkshakes are the best thing by far, especially the white Russian milkshake!

I was eating a KFC with gravy at work one lunchtime and a new girl who'd joined that week said ewww I used to work at KFC and they make the gravy from the drip trays under the chicken pieces. I fell in love with the gravy even more, much to her disgust 😁

Great vids Adam! I am new to the channel, which I discovered while I was recovering in Hospital from my third brain surgery in two years! One of the drawbacks of having the general anaesthetic is that for some reason I lose my sense of taste for a few weeks. So as you can imagine the hospital food wasn't doing it for me! 😉 Found your channel and have been slowly getting through the back catalogue of videos. Yes, KFC gravy is made with the scrapings from the insides of the chicken fryers at the end of the day. It has not stopped me from eating it, & I have seen it FIRST HAND!

@@benhaj7662 do you have kids? They will refuse to eat anything that’s not junk food most the time, so unless you’re suggested they starve or are force fed food that they will hate, just stop preaching
