The vegetable slicer that works in the store but not when you get it home makes me laugh every time. Dad got Mom a pea sheller for Christmas when I was a small child. Never could get it to work! LMBO!

My Mom bought it at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Broke 1st time used to slice TOMATOES.... Saw the same thing on TV commericals a few days ago, looks like the same POS one she bought 50 yrs ago!

This makes me think that there should be a parody of The 12 Days of Christmas, based on Popeil inventions. It would have to start out with "On the first day of Christmas ??? gave to me a steel girder glued to my head".

The Nakashuma should be worth something by now. Or is it just a joke? There is no information about a Japanese firm with that name on the Internet. But similar designed I-Phone back covers and stationary are available. Great song and video anyway, thanks!

My gosh! Slightly different than the familiar version, where gift #5 is "A statue of a lady with a clock..." Here, it's "A statue of a naked lady with a clock..."

The original 45 from 1963 has the "naked lady" line in full. When it was released on LP, in stereo, in 1964, the word "naked" was cut from the song, and that's the version you hear most often. The original version with the "naked lady" can be found on the box set "My Son, The Box."
