Күн бұрынThe Cologne based Methusalem team prepared two 1974 Ex Lauda Ferrari 312 B3 for the 2018 edition of the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique. Former Le Mans winner Marco Werner drove one of the two cars to a third place podium finish in a wet race on Sunday. His full story can be found in AUTOMOBILSPORT issue #18!

In 1974 the Lauda's Ferrari was #12, the Ferrari #11 was driven by Clay Regazzoni! Anyway, the video is beautiful, awesome, congratulations!! It is always nice to see the cars from the 1970 and 1980 seasons!!! Thank you very much!

Great music to honor a great era of great cars and drivers - a time when the sport was pure, no comparasion with the ridiculous, almost self-driving playstation cars of modern times and equally ridiculous test-tube courses. The same applies to the unspeakable pit strategies. At the latest, since 1994, the so-called "Formula 1" no longer deserves this designation. I still remember this Ferrari model in the 1974 Monaco GP. I watched on the TV. Regazzoni led the first 30 laps then spin. In the end, Ronnie Peterson , driving a Lotus 72, won the race.

At the GP of Montecarlo on '74, the winner has be Ronnie Peterson, not Lauda. Also, in this video, the Ferrari have a number eleven, when this for Clay Regazzoni. Niki's, on '74 and '75 championship has drive with twelve number

I timed a lap in the video at 1:36. According to Wikipedia fastest lap in the race in 1974 was a 1:27.9. Not sure course is exactly the same now, might be an extra chicane? So that time is pretty close to what the car did originally.

Non credo che sia cosí. A Monaco Lauda vinse nel 1975 con una corsa fenomenale, inizialmente sotto la pioggia e poi all' asciutto riportando la Ferrari all successo a Monaco dopo 11 anni. Poi Niki vinse anche nel 1976 e arrivó secondo nel 1977 (sempre su Ferrari). La guida sensibile e veloce di Lauda si adattava benissimo all circuito stradale di Montecarlo

There is something wrong, Niki Lauda always had nr. 12 in season 74 and 75, Clay Regazzoni was nr 11! And look at the shifting, Marco Werner is not gearing in an H sceme, he is shifting in a up and down sceme like in an early sequential gearbox. This is not 74 standard. Probably the car is a fake, replica but not an original car!!!

Yes, clay was Nr. 11. I was wondering too, if these fast shifts are possible with H-sceme gearboxes. Look at 04:15 to 04:21 : you can see his upshifting ..onetime backwards, next upshift forward...regards 👋
