***** no, this came out almost 3 years ago, not less than 2, okay? and why being so rude? In my comment I indirectly said that I am so proud of how far there guys have come. Since this came out, they have grown so big. They have always wanted to be doing music for a living, and the last couple of years, that dream has come true. and oh, I think you mean teens.. and then I ask, why does age really matter? I enjoy listening to their music and they mean a lot to me, and that's the most important.

I've been listening to the 1975's for years and I don't care if they go black and white, pink, blue, purple, green. I don't care what colors they use, all i care about is their music. Even though I love the first album, I also love the second one and no matter what they do with their music I will support them because their lyrics is what makes me love this band.

Their songs about drugs to sex to being horny, to being cheated on, cheating on, doing of uncivil things, falling in love, making out, hooking up, flirting, disbelief of god, getting high and to almost being in love is so relate able to people from all walks of life. They are perfect. They have sung about the most realistic aspects of life. Their music has helped me so much. They are gonna be hugeee :D get ready everyone!

Okay how do I express my love for this song? I fell in absolute love in 2014 and I was 10 going on 11listening to this in my room thinking I was bad ass. I fell in love again when I was 12 going on 13 when I submerged myself into the band and ultimately buying their CD to listen to this song particularly on repeat the whole time I slept. Once I got a phone I downloaded off of KZfaq to then slow it down and listen to it while reading and writing fan fiction about Matty. I am now 16 going on 17 and I still am in absolute love with it.

I hate how people think that all 13-14 year old fans are immature. Like no that's not the case, some of us can actually control ourselves because we want to be able to hear them not ourselves screaming. Now I get that there's like those annoying "hipster" fans but I mean like don't just associate them with younger fans
@ouijabored0009 жыл бұрын
***** Age is simply a state of mind. Some 13 year olds will know the difference between right and wrong, and when these sorts of things, such as sex or violence, are exposed to them, they know not to get involved with it. I mean, what exactly is "appropriate" music for 13 year olds? Are you saying we should be listening to Taylor Swift and OneRebublic (I have nothing against OneRebublic, actually, they put out a great message.) rather than music that affects our emotions, makes us think, inspires us, speaks our emotions for us? Many, many songs have helped me through the toughest of times that I've been through, even though they were negative and potentially "inappropriate" songs because they had swearwords or talked about fighting or war. (Not to mention, the songs that actually sing about sex ((example: About all hip hop songs and/or top 40 songs with rappers and Katy Perry, blah blah blah, etc)) are even more popular with the younger ones than this band, and let me tell ya, it's obvious which is polluting the children's minds more). How about you just dictate what I should listen to, huh? Obviously this band isn't directly talking about sex in this song, it has a deeper meaning. If a 13 year old can understand that by simply listening to the song, then I'd say it's sure as hell appropriate for them. Enough with the young stereotypes, please.
@ouijabored0009 жыл бұрын
***** Mate, I've been told multiple times that I act like I'm 20. I know that I'm mature enough. How did you draw the conclusion that I'm not mature in the first place? In addition, how do you say, "maybe im not talking about you? im just saying that most 13 year olds are not mature enough for this shit," then say that I'm not mature enough? You just contradicted yourself, whether you noticed it or not, it happened. And, no, my "long fucking rant" was not about how I was mature enough, I was defending the user you had replied to and was defending them and 13 year olds alike. But aside from that, the point I'm trying to get across to you is that a lot of 13 year olds understand the basics of the world already. They know that sex causes pregnancy and STDs, they know that disagreements between countries may cause war, they know that violence causes punishment and perhaps jail time, drugs cause horrendous things like death... And a great majority of us have indeed started puberty. Hell, The great majority of children in my class started in fifth grade. And yes, every 13 year old has a different state of mind. Every single human being has a different state of mind and perspective on this world, no matter what their age is. All humans are entirely different, complex creatures. What I'm saying it that some 13 years olds understand what's good for them and what's bad for them. Some 27 year olds don't know what's good and bad for them, others do. Some 44 year olds don't know what's good and bad for them, others do. 60, 70, 80, 90, etc. Now, perhaps, unless the world ends or we all kill one another before surviving the consciousness shift, one day there will be a time when people are assessed by how "mature" they are or how much they understand the world.. Perhaps, then, 18 will no longer be the age that everyone has full freedom. Of course, many, many people abuse this freedom. Hence they are not mature enough. Now I'm ranting. You understand, right?
@ouijabored0009 жыл бұрын
***** Bah, of course I understand _why_ they put age restrictions on things, but sometimes I question rules. What, exactly, is immature about that?
@michellee34419 жыл бұрын
I hate that fact that people see if your mature or not mature by your age, that's just ridiculous tbh.
