Since Matt’s sobriety….he just seems so much charismatic as a frontman,he seems more present and that means we are the lucky that get to see his true charm…been a fan of these guys for ages…so I’m glad they’re journey is heading in the right direction…rest of the band needs special mention for keeping this entity together and tighter than ever….

I think it’s interesting how this song started as an ironic ode to pop music and a departure from their usual style, and now it’s taken on an authentic and unironic edge with a lot more of their usual hallmarks, such as the saxophone by John and plucky riffs by Adam. I think it really speaks for how they’ve embraced their style, but maintained their edge of self analysis and understanding. Feels like the natural spot for this song to end up at

Liked the 1975 for a long time, I think this is the best vocals I've heard from Matt Healy yet, and I love how even hearing their new songs for the first time (nice surprise on the radio the other day!), I can instantly recognise that's it from them, and still enjoy their progression as a band!
