A sixty year old grey haired dude who listened to Kraftwerke as a teenager, who danced to exaustion at Bad Manner concerts, who had the privilege of getting high with Robbie Shakespeare in a parking lot in Providence, RI at 5 AM after a Black Uhuru concert. This here is good music.

Late to the comments I discovered the 1975 when they performed The Sound on the Brits. That guitar solo just grabbed me! From there I delved deeper into their music and for the first time in years I envied young peoples music. So much so that when it was released my daughter got fed up with me watching “TooTime” on KZfaq. For my birthday in November ‘18 she bought us tickets to see them at the O2 in January 2019. That’s how I, at the age of 60, had the time of my life as what must have been the oldest person in arena ……. Didn’t care, loved it!

Its funny fans are saying they miss the old the 1975 but they have always done this. Their sound is always changing song from song ( l. ( eg I like when you sleep for you so beautiful yet so unaware it) their lyrics and stlylings however never change. It is dark themes with sugary sweet melodies. Like ' you wet my eyes' and "I tell you lies' it is highly toxic relationship and they are disillusioned about both about cheating and calling other people. Its talk about consistent emotion cheating. They are always a bit off and weird but I like how they weirdly make me feel.
