This song reminds me of the end of an indie romance or something where the characters have a flashback of being at a fun fair at night or dancing or something having a special moment, but then realizing that they are sitting in their bedroom sad looking at the shared moments of their love together realizing what they've lost.. "I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It." Longest song title eeeever. But my favorite tunnel song by the 1975. Somehow they are capable of describing the euphoric rush of warm summer wind while driving in a blur of city lights. I don't even know how, but it's so good.
@KyaraJones10 жыл бұрын
My fav line from from this song is when he says "Do you wanna dance in the bar at the back of the hall?" there is something so masculine, sexual, and romantic all at the same time in that line. I always come back to this song when i am lonely, the song sounds so personal even though i cant relate to the experience he sings about.

the bass in it and the part with singing the hall

// I honestly think The 1975 are truly the most amazing band in the world. They possess the power to transport you to another world in no time. They have lyrics that you could relate to, they have stories some could relate to, they are 100% real and they don't care whether you like the real them or not. Sure they aren't like so many bands they don't have the looks you would find in other modern day bands (you know the ones that are photo shopped) but still they are more attractive than any other. It's like they can reach down your soul and touch it. The chills that they give you are not like any other. The chills are the ones where your arm and back hair stand up but it's warm that you want to feel it again and again, I honestly can say with every ounce of my body agreeing that there will never be a band like The 1975. I feel bad for the generation.People won't hear what absolute genius The 1975 music is. I love The 1975 // May they always be heard forever.

Who the fuck cares about looks, for me music is an emotional filter thats whats important to me, thats why I hate pop music there isnt any emotion to it it cant comfort me or make me happy or give me hope its just about sex and partying thats why I like 1975,coldplay,the script, 2 doors cinema club, travis, 3 doors down just to name a few just my five cents, have a great day and listen some more the 1975!

I love listening to this song when I'm having a bad day as I'm walking home from Uni. Something about the buildup to Matty shouting "Yeah it takes a bit more" and me shouting it with him just makes me so happy.

this song saved my life. last November, I had the worst day of my life. I was about to end my life, but I stopped because this song started playing. I can’t thank matty enough because now that I’m still alive, I had the opportunity to meet my internet best friend and see the 1975 with her on the 14th of January. They played this song too, it’s like they knew how much it meant to me and I just broke down, I felt so safe and happy, like all my numbness and emptiness got lifted out of me and I finally felt like I had a purpose in life.

So you’re telling me... this band can make a song called “Robbers” that makes me scream/cry every time I hear it, but they can also put out a song that makes me feel like I’m sitting on a cloud, free and nothing to worry about?
@justinagolokvosciute1995 жыл бұрын
mm equine they can also make an absolute bop like “love me” that just makes you want to dance everytime you hear it, and they can make a song like LIIWMI that makes you think about everything that’s wrong with people and world today. They are T-A-L-E-N-T-S

i don't quite know how to describe it, but this song makes me want to feel things - to break through the monotony of everyday life, to find the joy and sadness and nostalgia and excitement that accompany watching the sunrise from the roof of an abandoned building or speeding through empty streets. it just makes me want to feel.

The best songs are the ones that make you realize you're inner sadness, the hidden thoughts you weren't even sure of, and pulls them out through your tears to be released and recycled into a new emotions; hope and happiness. This is that song. The best song.

LYRICS HERE !!! And you're a liar, at least all of your friends are And so am I, just typically drowned in my car It's my party and I'll cry to the end You must try harder than kissing all of my friends, you Yeah it takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you You're alive, at least as far as I can tell you are And so am I, you beat me down and then we're back to my car And it's so ironic how it's only been a year And it's not my fault that I fucked everybody here Yeah it takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you And I say Do you wanna dance, do you wanna dance, do you wanna dance In the bar at the back of the hall? And I say Do you wanna dance, do you wanna dance, do you wanna dance Dance in the back of the hall? Yeah it takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you It takes a bit more, yeah it takes a bit more than you More More Yeah it takes a bit more Yeah it takes a bit more It takes a bit more More Yeah it takes a bit more Yeah it takes a bit more It takes a bit more
