I think the v2 retail is really only justifiable if you’re super competitive. As for the issues with glorious I’ve had nothing like that with the model D

I too swore that I would never buy another Glorious product again and this is coming from someone who has bought many of their products and actually loved them. I swore by Glorious. Issue after issue, I decided it was best to not buy from them ever again and tell others what they are getting themselves into. Like yourself. You mentioned you rocked the Model O which is awesome because it is a clone of the fabled FK series from Zowie. This is a safe shape that you can find almost anywhere. The Viper 2 is very similar to your previous MO but there are many cheaper options out there if all your looking for is the shape! As for the Model D, again Glorious just copied the fabled EC series from Zowie. Again, this shape can be found just about everywhere. Pulsar Xlite V2 is the same design, is lighter and the build quality is said to be top of the line. They have a smaller version if you want something like that as well. Then again, Pulsar aren't the only ones to make this classic ergo design and you can find this Model D shape much cheaper from other companies. G-Wolves comes to mind with their Skoll series of mice. Same shape. Hope my comment helps you out

Damn I'd love to have the Viper V2 Pro you have on standby lol. Anyway, yeah I get what you mean - and I am a bit of the opposite. I have a DeathAdder v2 Pro and a Viper Mini, and I decided to stick with the Viper Mini despite its size and its sensor.

I’m still ranting to try out the pulsar but haven’t gotten around to picking one up. They just announced a model d pro that’s 59g and no top holes, though it’s through their forge program so it’s a group buy thing. I’ll definitely buy it to try out but I hope a follow up mouse available regularly will come eventually

Depends if you like ergos or not, but overall Model D Wireless is better due to better build quality (no creaking and no rattle), more durable clicks (up to 80 million rather than 20 mil), and imo more comfortable shape but some people like ambi more than ergo so that's on you. Generally Model D Wireless has better build quality and is overall a better mouse but if you like ambi then Model O will check more of your boxes.

I’m testing out a different mice from roccat right now and have actually been really impressed. Hear a lot of good things about the Kone so might give it a try
