@AutomateYourLife My Philips Hues are great, so no issues there, but you toss in a Google display 2nd gen, of numerous Google minis set around the house to listen to music worked out well, but at times for some unknown reason they go offline and I am unsure. And I have Echo devices which I feel is the best for setup, and an Aeotec smart hub & which I find it useless at this point I adopted the idea of Matter, but the idea was short-lived due to ignorance and the belief that it was simply in play.

Question. What is involved if I buy a new Eufy Homebase 3 in switching all my Eufy cameras and sensors and Echo devices from an older Eufy Homebase (2?) to the newer Homebase 3. Is it just like starting from scratch and I have to sync every device? I ask because I was looking at the E340 floodlight camera the advertisement on Amazon says it is Eufy Homebase 3 compatible. Does this mean it and other newer Eufy/Echo devices won’t work on my current setup? Thankyou

Whats ur opinion on Wyze brand? I have a indoor camera and smart bulbs. But their sensors arent worth it

Yeah I think Wyze makes pretty good cameras, but you'll need a sub with them most of the time. Bulbs are nice and I've really liked their air purifier. Sensors were never great

You can make them work with Govee through Alexa. That'd be the only way right now I think. :)

For those want to buy Switch bot curtain 3, after testing it out, I found the pause function on curtain 3 is not that mature e.g. it can not be paused in the middle of opening & closing by the remote and there is bug using pause through smartthings app using matter bridge

Just bought the Google and it's really very good, have it connected to my Google nest battery doorbell camera which I bought at the same time and yes the battery version does let you know via Nest Audio that someone is at the door despite comments to the contrary. It also has a nice selection of chime sounds too. Going to buy a Amazon Echo while black friday is still on. I also have a Google Nest Home Hub Max arriving tomorrow ( due to buying Nest Audio first where one or two comments said that it does not connect to Google Nest Doorbell Camera battery powered...liars). Yay! Smart lightbulbs are my next purchase. Update: just bought the Amazon Echo 4th Gen instead of the Echo Dot {£49.99) which also came with a Philips Hue White Single Smart Bulb LED...nice.
