This week I drove the 2018 Volkswagen Beetle Dune Convertible and I really quite liked it. I would personally prefer the coupe over the convertible and probably another color but it’s definitely the best Beetle I’ve driven. When test-driving a convertible put the friggin' top down and drive it, even for 30 seconds. Nobody buys a soft-top as an afterthought. Also, the price should be mentioned at the very beginning.

Never been a fan of the Beetle but this one actually pretty good. I think we should slap a 12 inch left on it and pop some 35inch mud grapplers

So can this can go off-road driving in the actual SAND in the beach or not? Or is it just for style and marketing name etc?

I wasn’t able to test that out but I bet you it would do just fine on a beach. Especially if you’re willing to get some more aggressive tires.

Should have at least shown the engine, and since when is a beetle considered a hatchback? Also, provided very little feedback on cabin space, back seat room, etc. What other colors does it come in? Very sketchy review at best.

Less video of you and more of the car. You never even showed it from the outside with the roof down. Also, image stabilization would help.

hey buddy, 2016-2018 models do have blind spot monitoring. this is probably one of the worst reviews i’ve ever watched.

To be fair, they are available with a blind spot monitor. Not all trims do and the one I test drove didn't. I could have done some more research on that before just blurting it out but... Thanks for the comment.
