Sad but true... but I blame FCA for not Advertising this car, it has so much potential for being what it could've been... but FCA said "Hey! Let's advertise the Dodge Brothers!" We could've still had an SRT version of the 300 if FCA also did right with there advertising, but I guess FCA is too damn poor to do that 🤦🏽‍♂️ They've never did it with the Second Generation, idk about the First, but sure as hell not the Second, and that's why 2014 was the last model year in the States

Mirza Munif funny. Where I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, we have a MASSIVE Indian population. And this, the V6 Challenger and Charger, 2.0T and V6 Camaro, Ecoboody Mustang, are viewed and sought after just as much as Mercedes C-Class, Audi A4/5, and BMW 3/4/5 series. Indian people here LOVE these American shitboxes and think they’re racecars and the baddest and most luxurious thing around. I wonder where this idea came from. But very interesting that you mentioned that people in the middle easy view it the same way.

I think they could win young and old alike if they went that route. Oh, as for the "old" wood, I believe the proper generic name for that is "burl wood trim." It used to be EVERYWHERE in the 80s! The reason it is still for sales is because it's made on the same line as per the Charger and challenger in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Tooling cost reduced to minimum, the existing supplier chain as been established for years. The cost to manufacture this car is one of the least expensive in America. The Profit margin on this car is probably in the top 5 highest as well. I owned a 2005 300 touring, a 2005 Magnum SXT and now a 2016 Challenger R/T. Because these car are so well built, reliable, big and nice driving there is no reason to stop making them. Old does not mean obsolete. The prices uses to be acceptable but since 2017 they have increased way too much I think but it might be due to the fact that FCA are known to give bigger discounts. I think this platform should keep on going to offer the ''bigger sized cars'' for us the bigger Americanadians. Made by Canadians for Canadians, tested in true winter conditions. Cheers 👍 Mike

Hi guys, I loved your review. As mentioned by previous contributors, down here in Australia we can buy a RHD factory built (in Canada) Chrysler 300 SRT, yes indeed !! The reason being is that we can't buy a factory Charger or Challenger. The Chysler 300 SRT is currently being used by the New South Wales Highway Patrol. It is awesome to see out on the road !

My mom had a 2014 300S AWD V6 that was awesome. It was dark blue and had blue leather seats and black wheels. Beautiful car. The gauges were better in that year, more pale blue and white, more classy. I really loved that car, maybe I’ll own one some day. It had a normal shifter, never had any issues with it but it was a lease so sadly it’s gone.

I had one of these, 2015, which was the year it was revised to the model you drove. It was a 300 S, grey with blue leather interior, fully loaded. Excellent car, but spent a year getting all the warranty work done which really spooks me on FCA now. Went through 3 head units, new rear sunshade, new HVAC control panel, and multiple software fixes after the various visits for the other things. But it drove so nice and had incredible tech. I often got a 200 as a loaner when mine was in the shop, and the 300 is clearly a better built and better quality vehicle. Just too bad it had so many problems upfront.

300s have always been one of my favorite sedans, and are way better looking than the Charger. The newer ones are pretty sporty and are definitely quick in the hellcat version though, but they are still a four-door and like the Challenger so much more. That's why I bought an SRT8, and is a lot of fun to drive. My first car was a 68 Charger and is kind of hard to accept it as a sedan, so that's one of the reasons and wish that they would have named it something else. It's kind of like if GM brought back the Chevelle as a four-door, and would not be acceptable to enthusiasts of the platform. It may seem overly technical to some, but the iconic name should have been preserved. PD yards are filled with them, and just doesn't seem cool as a cop car. But like I said, the later models are really sporty looking and like them a lot more than when they first came out. At least in Hellcat and 392 trims anyway, and are totally sinister looking in the widebody to

I am 70 years young. I recently traded my 2011 Chrysler 200 Limited 3.6 for a 2020 Chrysler 300 Limited 3.6. My 200 was a road rocket with torque steer. When you floored it from a standing stop, the front tires grabbed and clawed at the pavement. 0 to 60 mph came in at 5.2 seconds. My 300 weighs approximately 800 pounds more than the 200. But what a difference when cruising down the interstate. The 300 is magnificent. Quiet, comfortable with outstanding linear stability. No wandering about the traffic lane, even at speeds above 100 mph. Room for 4 adults. Huge trink. Panoramic sunroof. Good Alpine stereo. The 3.6 Pentastar engine makes 300 hp and 268 torque. It seems like 325 hp and 300 lb ft of torque. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Chrysler 300. Well above average leather. The thick rim steering wheel is made for big manly hands. I love this 300. Big, black, bold and beautiful to look at. Anyone who has not driven a Chrysler 300 is really missing the boat. And now that 2023 will be the last year for the 300, all I can say is, I got mine.
