Also considering that most first year models are practically a "beta test" and always have issues. Look at the new Colorado, they've got all kinds of problems that the service centers can't even fix yet. The Bronco had loads of problems on release too, it's just not worth being an early adopter anymore.

Yeah I looked on Autotrader and nobody even has them in stock yet, and they’re already at $20k markups. I’m disappointed that people would even entertain a $20k markup on a truck that tops out at $61,820 if you build it with literally every available option.

OK Ford, great truck. A few things. 1) Sunroof. A $60,000 truck needs a sunroof. The Everest has one, give the Ranger one. 2) Heated AND COOLED seats. Not just "ventilated", Cooled. Like you used to do. 3) What's with the mail slot rear window opening? Toyota gives us an entire window that goes down. The Explorer Sport Track had a rear window that 75% would go down. Great truck Ford, but you missed a couple things. It's OK though because I will be in the Market next year, not this year, and I'm looking forward to it.

@@DarthNero I have 1 spoken for, and my dealer quoted me $57,000. But I've been buying my raptors from them for a long time. There's just no way they will mark them up that much for the average buyer, when for $20k more you can get into the Raptor R.

Love this truck but crazy the US version has no sunroof or rear ac vents. Hard to justify paying $60K+ dealer markup for a mid-size already without some pretty basic options, especially when both the new taco and ZR2 will have them. With full-size truck pricing out of control and the soul-less state of cross-over SUV's, the mid-size pickup segment has now become the fun weekend overlander, family hauler, and work truck. Chevy and Toyota get it....

you spoke facts on that.. the ups driver that delivers to my area in atl has the 2022 full size raptor... another came in his place last month and commented on my 2016 GMC sierra slt.. which is paid for.. he said buddy payin @2500 a month for that raptor.. thats crazy.. my house payment aint that high..

Yeah it is. The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 6790 lbs, which classifies it as a Class 2a vehicle (6001 lbs - 8500 lbs). Which is the same classification as the 2024 Ford F150.

I really like the Chevy Colorado Bison but this Ford Ranger Raptor edition is beautiful. I do like the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro which also starts at around 50k too. Presently i own a 2007 Ford F350 DRW 6.0l. Lariat edition that i love but I'm thinking of getting something smaller like the Ford Ranger or Chevy Colorado or maybe even go with the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Tacoma.

Eh, it's not as bad as the no rear air vents. Even my current raptor I keep the sunroof closed and covered 99.9% of the time, since I hate when the sun is glaring into my eyes lol. I have one on preorder, because I'm a smaller guy and got tired of being in such a huge truck.

@@JohnB-mo4kq I love a sunroof! I keep mine open everyday that the sun is out and in the vent position any time it is not. I wear a ball cap due to hair loss and wear sunglasses from sun up to sun down.

It’s like people have have amnesia. Pre covid, the F150 Raptor which is a larger truck, started at about the same price Ford is asking for this Ranger Raptor. The F150 Raptor started in the mid 50k range, and now, less than 5 years later, it starts at nearly 80k which represents a near 30% increase….in less than 5 years…..The worst part is it seems like many people are completely fine with it for the simple fact that the “competition” is also expensively priced. That’s like saying a dozen eggs being priced at $20 dollars is reasonable since orange juice costs about the same for a gallon of it. I don’t understand how the average consumer can be duped so easily on a purchase that is likely to be their second most costly purchase of their life.

I'm not a Ford guy. I had hundreds of problems with a 2016 F150 FX4 lariat with the 5.0L that I bought brand new off the lot. I swore Ford never again. This ranger raptor has got me thinking about it. I'll give it until late 2026 and see if has any durability problems. If it's reliable then I would think about jumping back into a Ford, maybe.

I don't think you'll see too many crazy markups, since each lot is only allocated a small amount. Most of which are probably already spoken for by their top customers, who won't get upcharged. I know my dealer is only getting one, and I have already been quoted the MSRP.

it's actually around the world already (except for USA & Canada currently), although those have either a 2L twin-turbo I4 diesel or a 3L twin turbo V6 diesel (the future American model has 3L twin-turbo V6 gas, same engine from the Bronco Raptor)

diesel pickups are very popular in southeast asia because diesel is cheaper per liter. In thailand, i see many ford rangers, toyota hiluxs, mitsubishi tritons, and isuzu dmaxs. In cambodia, they do have the same trucks but they also have american imports such as the toyota tacomas and tundras, and the ford f150s. Those trucks are sold for twice the price there.

I can't wait for the recalls and dealer markups! 😍 People need to stop supporting Ford; they consistently put out an inferior product and have multiple class action lawsuits against them. I was part of one for their Ford Focus' dual clutch transmission that needed parts replacement three times before 40K miles. Dumped it and RAN! At least wait until this car is out for a year or two before you consider owning this, I beg you.

Did the fix the effing auto play with Apple Music? When you turn your truck on if you phone is sync’d it will boom whatever song you had loaded last about a minute delay. Almost made me wreck several times. Apple says it’s ford, ford says it’s apple:/

For the price I would probably say with markups maybe 65 to 70 that’s BS so, I think I’ll stick to a Toyota Tacoma TRD off road for 50 thousand and you probably get a sunroof with it just as capable off road vehicle and more torque but not the horsepower though but reliability is a lot better with Toyota 🤙🏾

You're not that tall you'll be fine as long as you're not sitting in the back seat.. I'm 6'4" and I never have a problem in any front seat, even with sedans and coups I always fit fine with the seats farther back. We're tall but not freakish tall lol
