Nit pick: it seems odd that they put satin grey metallic trim throughout the cabin, but left the steering wheel metal trim shiny like in the CX90

Your concerns should not be the the price or reliability. This thing, especially not having a V8 will have resale dropping like a rock. Pay 50 and it will be worth 15 in 5 years.

Bummer no exhaust tips🤮and a inline 6. A simple but proper exhaust would sound good and distract from the rear bulge...then the fake lower intakes front and rear. Seriously 🤮 The fake waffle stuff has become a pandemic of its own in the auto industry. Despite this, still really like the 70.

I still say Mazda screwed this up royally. This was supposed to be a slightly wider CX-60. That would have been perfect. This is way too big. Plus, no other company changes the name of the vehicle when the only difference is a third row delete (a few minor design details mean nothing). The GV80 can be 2 row only or come with a third row, it's called GV80 both ways.

That’s the perfect size screen!! I don’t understand this trend of making screens excessively large. The one on the new Tacoma is 14 inches!! Not even the iPad offer a tablet that large.

A pity that this high performance variant is not available in the UK. We're left with the worthy yet middling 122hp 2.0 Skyactiv-G, and the brisk (not rapid) 2.0 Skyactiv-X with 183hp. I own the latter and it is worthier on the counts of performance and economy. But when the Germans can unleash their sub-5 second fuel-guzzling, carbon-emitting Greta-pisser-offers - it seems even more daft that we don't have this variant of the 3 here.

I bought my 2023 Corolla hybrid with AWD and with 50+ MPG numbers, so this newer Civic gets less fuel mileage and still just only FWD compared to my Toyota. Oh and even my back seat passengers have charging USB-C ports.

Some of your comments need to be thought through. Auto locking is a stupid idea. It causes a lot of problems. If you are too stupid to lock your car you should not be driving. Regards. your suggestion leather should be on the dash: sheesh. Go to look at used cars with leather on the dash. Its too hot in summer up on the dash. The leather shrinks, pulls away from the edges and or cracks. Moronic idea.

As a long time Honda fan, it's a mixed bag to me. Looks great from the outside, but severely lacking on the inside. No rear USB or vents for a car that will cost almost 30k? An infotainment system that sticks up/out like a sore thumb. Can't they design the screen to be built into the dash, it looks so bolted on. The AC knobs are big enough for the green giant's fingers... As for the wheels, the look great but 40 series sidewalls will make this car ride like crap on anything but smooth new asphalt. It's nice... but could have been a lot nice for the money.

Please, stop. The interior looks nicely done, but it's far from high quality. Most of the plastic are cheap, thin, and shiny, save for the Touring that was shown, where you get a little bit of soft touch on the doors, and piano black inserts. Other than that, the Sport, EX and LX get hard plastic and no piano black inserts. Feeling is believing, and seeing is not enough.

Getting rid of the manual is a pretty big bummer, but I understand that nobody bought it anyways, and at least they have the Si and the Type R for that. The fact that they're moving the Civic towards the same way as the Accord is a little annoying to me, but at the same time, at least this hybrid is replacing the 1.5T instead of the 2.0T on the Accord.

I really wish Honda made the Nav system into the Dash because it's really High on the dash itself. I do like the MPG and glad they went with a hybrid instead of all electric. Also I'd like to see the automatic hand shifter as buttons but i heard that if you spill something on them, you're out of luck. So i've heard.Honda could've gone with the odyssey button on the mid dash for their vehicles then they could've had space for extra storage or maybe room for a little cooler to put your drinks in, possibly an upgrade, just a thought. Kinda like what VW did with their glove department box.

I bought a CX-50 in February. Nothing about the car disappoints me. Maybe I’m just too basic but the interior on my Cx-50 and this CX-70 just feel borderline luxury. Maybe because I traded my 2017 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD. It was basic as basic gets!

No rear vents, usb, or heated seat controls (like in my 2018) is weird. Also, it should have power folding mirrors, blind spot indicator in the driver’s side mirror and I wish these newer cars had built in camer systems like Teslas. Or at least offer it as package.
