Its not a turbo its just for naming, every high performance Porsche (except gt3,gt2 and gt4) use turbo and its common so they use that even tho it has no turbos its just to tell u its high performance

And it's true Model S Plaid 0-60 WITH 1 ft rollout is about 2.3s This one with attack mode is actually about 1.9s Also, Tesla loses much more performance the lower the battery goes compared to this.

Guys come on🤦‍♂️ I mean I worked at Porsche for a couple of years and have great admiration for the company and their vehicles, however why lie? 0-60 in 2.1 is slower and top speed of 190mph is slower than the plaid. You could argue it’s quicker on the track, but so far it hasn’t proven that it is. The lap record they claim to have broken is from a model s plaid without track package. The track package would embarrass the Porsche Taycan turbo GT and it still seats 4 adults comfortably. Now I will hand it to them on the 7:07 nordschleife time. Just not a better car tho. We’re talking $120,000-130,000 for the model s plaid with track package and it’s able to literally drive itself, while the Porsche will be $230,000+. There will be so few of these sold in comparison to the plaid and even the Tesla roadster that it’s almost a waste on Porsche’s time and resources. Hey to each their own. Sometimes thinking outside the box and using a bit of logic is hard I guess.

This has the Weissach package equipped. This adds the aero and removes weight. That's why there are no rear seats. If you want the rear seats, then buy the regular taycan turbo gt.

So I asked them about this and while the vent (black plastic piece) isn’t a functional vent. The sharp edge on the side of the bumper that is created is there to improve air separation which reduces drag. The design team placed the “vent” there so it doesn’t look like an awkward painted surface.

The difference is that the Porsche was made for a race track with curves, in which he still has good handling, that's why the package is called "Weissach". The Demon was made for the dragstrip and isn't good an meant for families either.

It is not tho. Just look at the recent lap record Porsche set in Nevada. Absolutely crushed Tesla’s previous record by 5 seconds (which is crazy on a short track like this) Porsche is faster.
