There’s also a way to do the slow down kill thing, but you don’t take damage as Steve. It’s a pretty hard setup but it works.

@@pokemaster2352 no impact landing and some other tricks here are extremely useful bro. But to learn him you should watch another video. To master him, this video is pretty good. Sure, some tricks are just funny and casual but here are many things that will learn you to master him ( for example NIL and to press the pressure plate under the platform). When you get better with him you should go back here.

This is really a testament to how seriously they took designing Steve for smash; most of this is possible because they put actual physics on everything rather than just hitboxes and call it a day.

My favorite little Steve trick is when you stand on top of a TNT, do a down smash, then mash airdodge. Steve won't get hit.

Man Steve is so cool, I understand why everyone in competitive smash hates on him but like come on, this stuff is pretty cool, you can get so creative with him. It’s just a shame how much backlash he gets because of how people play him.

This stuff is more difficult than u might think. The dirt disappears too quickly for the cart launch when u want and ure spacing is very precise.

these 1st ones are SO OVERLY COMPLEX when literally all i do is place a block behind me, and then power rail into said block. by boosting away from the opponent, then hitting the block you placed, the cart bounces off the block pretty much into a 2nd boost and 9 times out of 10 people get hit by it because of how much it throws most people off. Seriously. takes a fraction of the time, resources, and skill to pull off, for a much more reliable trick. xD

When you up b, tilt for a split second your c stick diagonally towards the stage. I can't really explain it with words but go and practice it for a bit and you will figure it out. It's more a timing thing that anything

To get the height you have to up b and then flick the stick diagonally up right like this : ⬆️🅱️ +↗️➡️ (for a split second, then let go). Its really hard for ne to explain this so forgive me but with a bit of practice you can get it down

Me watching this. And thinks. Steve TNT go boom. I cannot get this into my head it's way to much for me. Sure Steve Combo's are insane. But i'm not gonna waste my time at a character that i barly play. Still good job for those creative Steve players.
