In the wild the max. recorded weight seems to be around 12 kg and the length is in the full version of this video 🙂

Now, let's have a list of the shortest and fattest venomous snakes.

@edwinhooks I typed... "Fattest" meaning girthy. Not fastest.

@LivingZoology I would like to see an entire episode dedicated to just the gaboon viper. Short. Fat. Really pretty. Longest fangs, as well.

@@LivingZoologyBy most every expert measure Inland Taipan is 1 venomous. However it avoids people so is not very deadly in that aspect. Maybe change the list name to most deadly? As King Cobra would likely you top there.

We can tell you that the excitement is huge when we have one of these 3 species in front of us! ❤️😀

Nice! Bushmaster was a surprise, thought the Forest Cobra would've taken that place. Why did that last snake look too thin to pass off as the King Cobra to me? Looked more like a Krait ;) Also, I believe that the first couple of snakes shown were to mislead: which ones are they (2nd one is Rattle snake Western Diamondback, and the 1st one looked like Red-bellied Black snake from Australia)? TIA for the answers😌
@LivingZoology3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Female King cobras are often quite small (means around 2.5 meters) and there are few shots of smaller females in our video. At the beginning, it is written in every shot what snake species it is :)
@Rama-Rama743 ай бұрын
@@LivingZoologyWatching it again, naming seems to start only from #3 Bushmaster. Am I missing something🤔?
@LivingZoology3 ай бұрын
@@Rama-Rama74 There is a text either at the top of the frame or at the bottom. In the first shot it is written Russell’s viper in the left upper corner.

@@LivingZoology No. And it is not a Russell's Viper ;) I have mentioned the more likely names. Please check!

Oh, we are very sorry! We did not realize that you are commenting under the Short, not the main video! The names of the snake species in the introduction are written there. Yes, here in the short we show the Red-bellied black snake and the Eastern diamondback rattlesnake :) If you are interested in the full video, it is here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/otR1YJmlzdCRiYE.html
