Bass fishing can be difficult at times. That is why I think it is important to have a process when you go out and attach a new body of water or even a body of water that you know well.
One thing that I really like to do is have a rotation of baits with me so that when I am fishing I can always go through my rotation in any given area. If I have been through the rotation and don't catch anything, its time to hit the next spot.
BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

This seems like a great idea. Think I will give it a try. I do normally have the 4 baits setup when I go kayak fishing but I don't actually fish them like that so this weekend I'm going to give this a try as I'm going to a new place in the river I haven't fished in years so will give it a try.

Love the idea. Love the podcast vids man!! They make work easier. My issue is that this idea is in my head, it's just actually putting the bait down to pick up the other one.

My approach is super similar to yours which is kinda nice to hear. I am limited to my amout of rods since I kayak fish and I don't want to waste time changing lure non freaking stop so usually I start the day with a dropshot, a finesse swimbait, a jerkbait, a chatterbait and a small texas rig... never thought of sizing up though to something like a glidebait, might be something to try and have fun with. Usually I have a lot of success with followers with a marabou jig, kinda the absolute opposite to a glide bait in term of size :D

@@dillonterry5724 There are bite windows of time when bass are feeding. They mostly feed on bait fish during this period. There are areas that they actually move to, to feed. When they are not feeding a reaction bait can draw strikes.

I recommend you watch the Salt Strong guy's videos about the 90/10 zone, and their approach to lures. They only carry a few different lures because they say that finding the fish is the secret to catching them. 90 percent of the fish are in 10 percent of the water. Finding the concentrations is far more important than the lure choices, and if they won't hit one of a few different baits they're not likely to bite anything. So they have a spook type topwater, a jig head with a paddle tail, another rigged weedless, and a shrimp imitation rigged on jig heads or weedless hooks, and they have a hybrid jerk bait topwater. They have a couple different options for the paddle tails, colors and sizes, are different jig heads and weedless weighted hooks. That's about it. They're fishin' in the saltwater but the concepts apply to bass and other fish. Those guys are good teachers. And most of their products are great for bass too.
