This is great Toby I got my first employment pay check earlier this year... I've worked here and there for myself more recently in the past 17 years. It was great to work as an employee alongside others in a work environment. I did this during my solo road trip around Australia! I got pretty wobbly toward the end but am on track again and going for a job interview tomorrow. Thankyou for all your help along the way. The getting back into life stage is quite the challenge. Life integration as you say. 💜 Congrats to you too Toby on your ongoing recovery and your thriving value based business and the positive difference you make in the world through the lives of others. I guess i'm on the opposite spectrum where i've been high functioning, constantley pushing n crashing for the last 18 years and NOW my body totally refuses even to want to engage in life anymore on the physical level but psychologically i'm in the opposite frame of mindset where I now want to live and enjiy life not just survive, I want to thrive and have the opportunity to live my life fully...This contradiction was the other way round for so many years between my mind n body where I was struggling mentally n emotionally and yet my body was always on high gear...This is extremely taxing on ALL levels...🥴

You cannot fix your gut health is your body is stuck in freeze or fight or flight and many people with these issues have complex trauma and can not ever be in a relaxed state, so the stomach can not heal in that state.

But physically I am in such a poor place, still trying to get some sort of baseline. Do you have any advice regarding how I can build my physical strength vis a visit supplements etc. My mind is in shambles bcoz I was the pillar of the house and to be in this position s crushing my spirit. Can you please help me, I'm really desperate.

Toby, you can estimate how many of your clients are women and men in percentage. What percentage and your clients are women?
@CFSHealth
@CFSHealth 3 жыл бұрын
Last time I checked world wide 4/1 ratio women to men. Not just in our program but general population. A lot of women mid 30’s to 50s however we have people as young as 15 in our program all the way up into 70s. We just had a lady complete our program who was 55 years old, ill for 16 years and is now living life fully again. She’s free, happy, health focused and can be a playful grandma again.

Despite all the beautiful stories. If you really have ME/CFS then the chance of a cure is very small. Just ask people who have actually had ME/CFS for many years and have tried just about anything to get better.

Why? I ask this because I have 3 surgeries behind me and a 4th coming up next week and the surgeons STILL cannot locate the hole in my inner ear/ sinus where the leak is coming from.

Agreed. Only people with anxiety / depression or general tiredness can recover doing such programs. Real M.E is a very serious immune/neurological disorder that requires real medical help and cure.
@MigthyDucksz24

@@AlbaLynxQueenits funny that you say that beacuse there really is no set ”cure” or path to ”recovery” for M.E/CFS patients within the general health care system. Doctors have very little knowledge on what it actually is and what is causing it.

I am struggling myself alot with burnout and chronic pain and chronic fatigue along with other ailments such as social anxiety and depression and sinus and guy issues and feeling weakness in my body. However i still think people can get better and that i can get better. Why not? People are able to recovery from the most brutal injuries and illnesses there is. Thats how our bodies are designed. To keep us alive and to keep us healthy. As for CFC/ME as i understand it, its not a one size fits all. People might experience it for different reasons or someone elses main factor for it might be different than the others. Most likely there is not a one single cause, but its a matter of a stress overload for a significant period of time that has caused the chronic fatigue as our bodies way of saying no, what are you doing, i can not take this anymore. Its our bodies boundary saying enough is enough and it is there for a reason to protect us and ourselfs. Thats why a hollistic approach is always best; sleep, diet, getting out of fight - flight (nervous system relaxation) are probably the main things to focus on in the beggining. Working on personality patterns such as being more assertive and being less of a people pleaser is also important. Setting too high importance on always doing things and achieving stuff i also feel like is a clear path to exhaustion too, beacuse it gets your whole body out of balance. Emotional regulation, Somatic practices that gets you out of your head and into your body (releasing trapped emotions, becoming more present, moving out from mind dissociation). Journaling and Meditation i find to be helpfull sometimes. Allowing myself to feel my emotions and that my emotions wont kill me. Then of course you can work on targeting more specific things too such as supplementation for vitamin deficiency and to check your hormones and what not. Overall by implementing all of these tips and techniques it would be impossible to not feel abit better.

why should you change your mind set if you were completely mentally healthy before the illness? CFS is the result of a very unhealthy lifestyle with chronic stress and therefore it is required that after the illness you change your whole life and attitude.
