Brother i suffer with this some times. The doubts, Though i know in my heart i have believed on him. Gets annoying sometimes though to be honest.. but you're right. Fantastic! Taking worry to the Lord immediately is a learned behavior. The positive results of it stir us to continue taking it to him. The results are, knowing it is in the only hands where it can be sorted properly. Scripture is soothing. Truth cures every ailment. Finally at 52, I go to God in prayer and in his word directly, after a life of fear and worry. All of the ones you listed at specific times in my life. I have no social media. I don't listen to radio. I don't watch tv. I don't watch news. When I want to consume something I do it on purpose and in a short time. Now when I start to worry, I research the bible until I am exhausted. Pastor Jesse, this is so good.

The Lord helped me a few years ago with the perception worrying. I won't say I don't care what folk think because I do but God has allowed me to put those worries in a balance and measure the outcome so I know if there's an issue that needs my attention. As a itinerary pastor and evangelist I used to have worry to the point of discouragement. Thank you for addressing this. Great information!

Yes I totally identify with traits of a "perception worrier".. Honestly I have never heard this process of "worry" explained so clearly. Also not setting and protecting personal boundaries can lead to "passive aggressive" behavior. Why worry when can PRAY! Yes! Take it to Throne Of Grace.. Seems like these worry situations are less the more I seek the LORDS council. Thank-You Dr. Jesse! Blessed LOVE Brother! ✝️

I hate to admit it but I found myself over the years in the perception-worrier category. I have sought God to ask Him to help me shake the perceptions and just let them go. I keep reminding myself that I'm the one who created the perception and I'm buying into the enemies' lies that others think of me the same way.

It's hard to understand what the clear salvation thing is all about... I finally and I do mean finally understand or at least I know that I feel assured now... But the thing is I can still see how people get confused I mean look at what you just posted up there on this video... Be careful for nothing... I would have never even questioned what that meant, I would have probably wondered why it says it in the Bible to not be careful about anything but I would have never dreamed in my wildest dreams that it meant don't worry... Never, and there's a lot of things in the Bible like that and I wouldn't even know to look it up in the concordance because I wouldn't have questioned it, I just would have walked in confusion thinking that I understood it... 😅 I laugh but really, there's so much that pastors know that we would never know it without you lol so thank God for pastor's like you 🌹

For me with worry, it's not that I worry if God can do something. I worry will he do it in other words I know he has the ability in the power and authority, I worry of whether he will make the decision that I'm hoping he will make and my worry comes from not knowing how the outcome will be in those scenarios.
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 24 күн бұрын
Yeah, I understand. It can be easy to fret over the outcomes because we want what we desire. I would say that’s the moment were we should really lean into the Lord and trust Him. Ultimately the outcome of the situation, whether it be a yes, no, not yet, or this will be better for you, is perfectly what we need. On the other hand, when we try to force things our way, that’s when things can lead to trouble. - Trent

How do you know if you are being chastened? And would you consider that proof of salvation because Hebrews 12 says if you aren’t chastened you aren’t saved?
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 24 күн бұрын
Our next mailbag will actually hit on this issue. That’s not the purpose of Hebrews 12 because every believer is chastened. The point is that you WILL be chastened. Ultimately that chastening is between you and God. It can come in different forms. If I may try to explain using my own experience some ways he chastens: - through people - through the knowledge of the word convicting you - through circumstances - through trials - through grief - through taking from you - through humbling by all sorts of means You see how ultimately only you can really understand how God chastens you? It’s not for others to see, nor is the goal to embarrass. The point of the passage is defiantly not to say “if you don’t see chastening, then you aren’t saved.” God does and will chasten, and it will eventually bring to fruition in your life. Unless of course, you just obey and walk in the Spirit. Let’s hope there’s more of that instead of walking on eggshells of sin in hopes of no chastening. - Trent

When people say believe on the Lord Jesus Christ does that mean believe in his death Burial and Resurrection for the forgiveness of our sins to be saved.
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 20 күн бұрын
Yes, they must understand these to be saved. Without his death and shed blood, there is no payment. Without his burial and resurrection, there is no eternal life. The person doesn’t have to absolutely understand every detail of how it all works, but knowing Christ died and rose FOR them to pay for their sins is the crucial aspect. That’s why it’s simply faith IN Him that saves a person. - Trent

@@BibleLine Are you going to do a video soon on what shall profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? By explaining Mark 8:36-37 KJV and Matthew 16:26 KJV in context? Because most people who upload KZfaq videos on what shall profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? believe and teach a works based salvation and lordship salvation and they might claim that the free grace Christianity that we believe in are gaining the world and losing our souls in hell because they claim that we teach to people can live however people want to live and still have their salvation all because people believe in Jesus.

What are the difference between what God's word says in Mark 8:36-37 KJV and what God's word says in Matthew 16:26 KJV about gaining the whole world and lose his own soul?
@BibleLine
@BibleLine 24 күн бұрын
Those passages are regarding discipleship. The servant minded disciple should not have his eyes on gaining or (1 John 2:15-17) loving the things of this world. You may lose your “soul” meaning your physical life or quality of life. This is similar to the death that Roman’s 8 speaks of. Carnality, fleshly living and living the things of this world always results in some form of death - though for the believe in Christ, it is not eternal death. - Trent

@@BibleLine People in lordship salvation use Mark 8:36-37 KJV and Matthew 16:26 KJV out of context to teach a works based salvation and I wonder if you can do a video explaining these verses in context because people in lordship salvation may claim that free grace theology that we believe in say that we just want to live however we want and still go to heaven because we believe in Jesus and that we as true believers in Jesus can gain the world because we can live however we please and still make it to heaven no matter what.

@Bentoto97 Right on, I hear ya. We have some content on the way that really gives tools to answering these objections, especially that common straw man. It’s definitely never “okay” to live in sin, but it is possible for the believer. We’ll see about getting a specific video (or at least a mailbag) for these verses. - Trent
