The Apostle foretells that before the coming of the Lord, there shall be a throne set up clean contrary to Christ’s glory, wherein that wicked man shall sit, and transfer all things that appertain to God, to himself, and many shall fall away from God to him. Pre-Trib is a dangerous doctrine to preach if not true. We are not appointed to Gods wrath that is true, but we are subject to the wrath of the enemy, scripture says he makes war with the saints and what of those under the alter who say how long Lord before justice is brought to the earth.

Oh boy, so bad, what is wrong with J Mac, he is clearly deceived. Jesus's blood is enough to save every human being that was ever born past, present and future. When you get saved, you are going to sin regardless, it is not humanly possible to live a life with zero sin, he payed for all our sins, past, present and future, stop doubting your salvation because of sin, Jesus has you fully covered with his blood. Paul is the perfect example, maybe that is why the Lord called him to be an apostle, the thief on the cross is also a good example to, hello. There are so many verses in the bible that give so much assurance that you have eternal life, you don't need anything else. If I was to die in the next hour, i know for sure without doubt i am going to heaven. Good works give you rewards in heaven, it does not save you. Build up treasures and rewards with your good works, only Jesus can save you not your good works. It is funny I was talking to a guy one time and he told me he wanted a bible, but they are to expensive, so he literally said he was not going to spend the money. In my head i was thinking ok you can purchase a car and a house, but you cant afford the bible. The things of this world are more important to him then the bible, but he claims to be a Christian and saved. I purchased the bible for him and gave it to him, i actually purchased many bibles and gave them out to everyone that needed a bible. The bible is the most important purchase you can ever make, the things of this world mean absolutely nothing, it will pass away, gods word, will never pass away. I had one guy who was interested and when he realized that is was a King James Bible, he didn't want it, later I found out that he was a J Mac follower, and he was reading his books, and he was using the LSB. He told me that the KJV was garbage and you need to throw it in the trash, I was shocked. And yes i did pray for him and I forgive him.

Guy is wrong, when you believe Romans 10:9-10, you get the spirit of the living God, it’s called being born again, it’s spiritual, Christ died for the remission of sins, it is past present and future, the spirit God gives is perfect and cannot sin, God looks upon the spirit of his Children, those who have accepted His beloved Son, this guy is fool of error

Amen the is power in the blood. 😃. Exodus 12:13-14 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever" the Bible says. ________________________________ , Exodus 12:1-51 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you. And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread. Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also. And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men. And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders. And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians. And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle. And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual. Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations. And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof. A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

I dont think they realize by adding works they water down the gospel. Grace true grace is what makes the gospel special if any of it involves us then it makes no different from islam, buddism, hedonism etc. They all believe in a works based salvation the popular is not grace alone for salvation (contrary to popular belief) thats actually rare teaching nowadays because it goes against human instinct and human wisdom but i think thats why so few peoole find it as Christ said. So few people actually GET IT and thats even including those who probably are actually saved.

Pastor Jesse I have been listening now for a couple of weeks and spot on brother!!!! I am so encouraged by your messages. The last one about the "Lord, Lord" was truly amazing. I have been a believer for over 25 years, and I always skimmed over the "will of my Father" and its meaning. Absolutely beautiful fresh revelation, thank you!!! I get his point (I don't like john MacArthur btw never have never will but I digress) but it's so bizarre like why does it matter for him to make that point anyways. Clearly the death and the blood matters you can die without bleeding but it's very bizarre that he even wants to make that argument or stand like why does it matter to him?

My husband and I haven't sadly found a church body yet. We went to one church and ended up joining, but slowly the pastor started mixing works with the gosple and salvation wasn't clear. Our hearts sunk as Sunday message after Sunday message he berated the congregation for not having enough faith. Then he misappropriated scripture over buying land (compared himself to Moses and those that didn't comply were disobent Israel). We left. My biscuits are currently burnt on church atm. We are moving here soon closer to Knoxville, Tn. My husband is done with trying to find a church atm. I don't blame him, he has autism and I have medical issues. The way we have been treated at various churchs as us disheartened currently. We read our Bible, listen to praise and worship, listen to sermons almost daily. We once a week see his spiritual mom and fellowship with her with a Bible study. Currently this works.

Again I had to stop this video in the middle. Good works do not save you every believer should know this. But good works are and should always be the fruit of your salvation. You are followers of the Good Shepherd once you are saved. If people cannot see that change in your life one has to ask if you truly met him.

So there is a difference between… - I am saveD meaning it is finished I am secured I can’t lose that? And - I received salvation tasted and all that, but purposely apostatized and turned away from the faith? Because based on all we have gone through in this series I feel so secure about my salvation. The Bible proves that. Does Jesus not give eternal life? How can something eternal be lost or taken from me?

John MacArthur: “We are not saved by his bleeding, we are saved by his death”. The Bible: 1. Ephesians 1:7 “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace." 2. Romans 5:9 “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!" 3. 1 Peter 1:18-19 “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." 4. Revelation 1:5 “ … and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood..." Why is MacArthur hesitant to simply say it like the Bible says it? Is he saying it better than the Bible? It is not the death of Christ in any manner and by any means that saves, but the sacrifial (by blood) death of Christ that saves us. The manner and the means of his death are inseparable. MacArthur makes the same mistake the other way round, that he accuses others of- that they think (which they don’t) that the “mere” bleeding of Christ does not save. He seems to think that the “mere” death of Christ, in a bloodless way, would have sufficed. Both are wrong. We are saved by the blood-sacrificed Lamb of God.

The Blood refers to the death of Christ. Blood had to be shed an He had to die in order to purchase salvation for those who believe. The 2 go absolutely together. Best to stay with the language of Scripture ... salvation through His Blood ... not good to be clever, academically theological ... just believe in simplicity and faith as the Word says.

you can find JM's explain letter about Jesus's blood on internet. Dear Beloved Friend, The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is holy and precious. The shedding of His blood in death was the price of atonement for our sins. As He literally poured out His blood in a sacrificial act, He sealed forever the New Covenant and purchased our redemption. Those of you familiar with my teaching know that I have always believed and affirmed those things. For the past two or three years, however, I have been under attack by a small but vocal group of men who are eager to discredit my ministry. They have charged me with denying the blood of Christ and have called me a heretic in several nationally distributed publications. My first response was to write many of those men privately, believing their attack on me grew from a misunderstanding. None of them had spoken to me personally before attacking me in print. Only a handful have yet replied to my letters. Still, I expected the public controversy to die away. My teaching is certainly no secret, and I knew that those who listen regularly to our radio broadcast would know I am a not teaching heresy. Nevertheless, for nearly three years a small core of zealots have kept the issue swirling around every ministry I’m involved with. One man has literally made a career of going to any church in the country that will pay his way and giving a series of messages on the error of “MacArthurism.” Recently, a couple of key radio stations dropped “Grace to You,” not because of anything we taught on the broadcast, but because they did not want to continue to deal with the controversy being generated by rumormongers....

Over the past couple of years we have received thousands of letters from all over the country, ranging from those supporting our biblical view, to those who are confused, to some who blindly echo the accusation that we are trampling underfoot the blood of Christ. For the sake of all of them, and so that you can better understand what I have taught about the blood of Christ, let’s look at three truths that I and all other genuine believers affirm about the blood of Jesus Christ. 1. Jesus’ Blood Is the Basis of Redemption Peter wrote, “Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [like] silver and gold …but with the precious blood of Christ” (1 Pet. 1:18-19, KJV). Scripture speaks of the blood of Christ nearly three times as often as it mentions the cross, and five times more often than it refers to the death of Christ. The word blood, therefore, is the chief term the New Testament uses to refer to the atonement. Peter wrote that election is “unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ” (1 Pet. 1:2). The “sprinkling of the blood” was what sealed the New Covenant (cf. Heb. 9:1-18). “Without shedding of blood is no remission” (v. 22). If Christ had not literally shed His blood in sacrifice for our sins, we could not have been saved. This is one reason crucifixion was the means God ordained by which Christ should die: it was the most vivid, visible display of life being poured out as the price for sins. Bloodshed was likewise God’s design for nearly all Old Testament sacrifices. They were bled to death rather than clubbed, strangled, suffocated, or burnt. God designed that sacrificial death was to occur with blood loss, because “the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:11). 2. Jesus Shed His Literal Blood When He Died The literal blood of Christ was violently shed at the crucifixion. Those who deny this truth or try to spiritualize the death of Christ are guilty of corrupting the gospel message. Jesus Christ bled and died in the fullest literal sense, and when He rose from the dead, he was literally resurrected. To deny the absolute reality of those truths is to nullify them (cf. 1 Cor. 15:14-17). The meaning of the crucifixion, however, is not fully expressed in the bleeding alone. There was nothing supernatural in Jesus’ blood that sanctified those it touched. Those who flogged Him might have been spattered with blood. Yet that literal application of Jesus’ blood did nothing to purge their sins. Had our Lord bled without dying, redemption would not have been accomplished. If the atonement had been stopped before the full wages of sin had been satisfied, Jesus’ bloodshed would have been to no avail. It is important to note also that though Christ shed His blood, Scripture does not say He bled to death; it teaches rather that He voluntarily yielded up His spirit (John 10:18). Yet even that physical death could not have bought redemption apart from His spiritual death, whereby He was separated from the Father (cf. Mat. 27:46).
@mikelim1556
@mikelim1556 6 сағат бұрын
3. Not Every Reference to Jesus’ Blood Is Literal Clearly, though Christ shed His literal blood, many references to the blood are not intended to be taken in the literal sense. A strictly literal interpretation cannot, for example, explain such passages as John 6:53-54: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” It would be equally hard to explain how physical blood is meant in Matthew 27:25 (“His blood be on us, and on our children”); Acts 5:28 (“[You] intend to bring this man’s blood upon us”); 18:6 (“Your blood be upon your own heads”); 20:26 (“I am innocent of the blood of all men”); and 1 Corinthians 10:16 (“The cup of blessing …is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?,” KJV). Clearly the word blood is often used to mean more than the literal red fluid. Thus it is that when Scripture speaks of the blood of Christ, it usually means much more than just the red and white corpuscles-it encompasses His death, the sacrifice for our sins, and all that is involved in the atonement. Trying to make literal every reference to Christ’s blood can lead to serious error. The Catholic doctrine known as transubstantiation, for example, teaches that communion wine is miraculously changed into the actual blood of Christ, and that those who partake of the elements in the mass literally fulfill the words of Jesus in John 6:54: “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” Those who have attacked me seem to be espousing the same kind of mystical view of the blood that led the Catholic Church to embrace transubstantiation. They claim that the blood of Christ was never truly human. They insist on literalizing every New Testament reference to Jesus’ blood. They teach that the physical blood of Christ was somehow preserved after the crucifixion and carried to heaven, where it is now literally applied to the soul of each Christian at salvation. We are not saved by some mystical heavenly application of Jesus’ literal blood. Nothing in Scripture indicates that the literal blood of Christ is preserved in heaven and applied to individual believers. When Scripture says we’re redeemed by the blood (1 Pet. 1:18-19), it is not speaking of a bowl of blood in heaven. It means we’re saved by Christ’s sacrificial death. In the same way, when Paul said he gloried in the cross (Gal. 6:14), he did not mean the literal wooden beams; he was speaking of all the elements of redeeming truth. Just as the cross is an expression that includes all of Christ’s atoning work, so is the blood. It is not the actual liquid that cleanses us from our sins, but the work of redemption Christ accomplished in pouring it out.

there are just too many warning signs following macarthur ... -net worth over $15m+ from ministry money -owns 3 homes, the cheapest of which is worth over $800k 'has fired people who have a relative charged with a felony or caught in adultery, while his own son is under criminal investigation for financial fraud (shouldn't he fire himself?) -crafted an approach to kick Eileen Gray out of church because she wouldn't submit to an abusive husband (who was also, by the way, abusing the kids) -in one of his q&q sessions recorded on gty, he actually said "the suffering church is just fine without us" ... speaking for the congregation, the suffering church, the whole body of Christ world-wide and yes, for Christ Himself too -EVERY OPPORTUNITY he has had to suffer affliction with God's people, he has regularly rejected, but (see items 1 & 2 above) he is more than willing to enjoy socio-economic enlargement from God's people's good faith donations -he makes growth in Christ all about "doctrinal accuracy" as a mask of obscurity to hide the fact that he won't cry one person's tears with them. he is simply NOT a giant oak tree where the birds can make nests and hide in a place of comfort to tell you the truth, i have often wondered if he is even saved and that he has arrived where he is by simply spending much time reading the Scriptures, not to glean the unsearchable riches of Christ, but as a means of weaponizing for his own enlargement ... EVERYTHING THAT SPEAKS OF A DEEP LIFE IN CHRIST AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE HEART OF THE COVENANT SEEMS TO ESCAPE ANY EXPRESSION IN HIM if you want to evaluate a church leader consider what Hebrews 11 says about Moses: 24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the [g]passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the [h]reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures [i]in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. instead of that example in macarthur, we see the EXACT OPPOSITE

JM is so easily disproved here. We only have to point to the 56 Roman guards that were executed at the flogging of Jesus. Every time the whip splattered blood on them, a guard would have his sins washed away, he'd become a believer and have to be executed. Our we could point to Paul's conversion story of being knocked to the ground, blinded, covered in blood and hearing "Saul, Saul why do you persecute me". Of course we don't see any of that because the literal blood was not magical. Don't turn it into some superstitious gnostic elixir like catholics do. This blinding hatred for Calvinism makes people pick some stupid "gotchas" to crow about. This has to be one of the dumbest ones. Absolutely none of you have had Jesus's literal blood on you at any time. JM's point is that "shedding of blood" is euphemistic for death and that Jesus's death is efficacious for all who believe. JM does not disregard the blood, but he has not venerated it to sainthood and made it an object of worship like catholics. Be like MacArthur, not like the Pope.

JM opinion on the matter obviously got twisted. 1. He's right about the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ: it's not magical. Not a dna extra or less. It's not supernatural. Why? He's human. That's why. He had to be, if He's to assume the role of a Kinsman Redeemer! He's no kinsman if his blood isn't as ours. 2. What sets his human blood apart (again, not in the sense extra supernatural) is this: innocence. It is untainted by human sin. His blood is innocent enough to pay for the guilty. 3. Quoting "Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin" to mean the blood that trickles down is enough to save has failed to acknowledge the demand of the Law: death. Nowhere in the OT did the priests plug the wound of the animal since enough blood was shed - the animal is then released. No, the shedding drains the animals dry. "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind." Gen 9:6 4. Life is in the blood. Indeed. So life for life.

Pastor I love what you're doing here. I used to be plagued with fear about my salvation - never truly having it. Yankee was one of the very first people I heard present the clear Gospel about 5 years ago. I love that you will get worked up about this too. Isn't it worth getting worked up over!? When pastors out here are hiding the gift of salvation from so many? My question though: at 40:15 you say God will "punish" the believer for living a sinful life after salvation. Is that true? I thought we may be disciplined or chastened by God and we may forfeit rewards at the Bema seat judgement but not punishment. After all - you just said "Jesus paid for all sin. How then would we still be punished?

The reference is to chastening and discipline. I know “punish” has its connotations, but there is no hellfire type condemnation or punishment that could partake on the believer. God can chasten severely in certain ways even to the point of death. That was definitely Jesse’s point. Thank you!! - Trent

I could be wrong, but from what I understand, JMac got this idea about the blood of Christ not being important from a teacher named RB Thieme in his early seminary days. This idea has lead to many other errors, even within certain free grace circles. This teaching goes completely against how precious the perfect, spotless body and blood of Christ are. If it was not for Him being as John 1 testifies: Behold, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world, there would be no hope for any of us. Jesus Christ is that perfect sufficient sacrifice - God the Son incarnate, and all He asks is that we believe in His finished work at Calvary via His death, burial and His resurrection for our eternal justification. Any pastor who doesn’t acknowledge the clear biblical evidence given about the blood of Christ and the remission of sins should read their Bibles, and believe what it says, because God has said it, and it is written.

The simple fact that someone speaks so easily or mock the Lord Jesus Christ sacrifice is very disturbing. He suffered so much, for us to be saved. So , no matter who speaks like that about Lord Jesus Christ sacrifice is not lead by the Holy Spirit. It is a red flag, is like he is annoyed by His blood, what pastor speaks like that about his saviour? Thank you for clarifying that for people who really believe and follow this so called pastor John MacArthur

I follow Paul and Peter in keeping a good conscience before God and all men, instead of keeping track of individual sins (they've all been washed and forgiven once for all time). To me, here is one of the ways Protestantism reeks of the Roman Catholicism that was pushed on me growing up; the constant keeping the mind set on sins of the flesh, instead of walking in the Spirit. 1 Timothy 1:19 GNT and keep your faith *_and a clear conscience. Some people have not listened to their conscience and have made a ruin of their faith._* 1 Corinthians 6:11 NASB95 Such were some of you; *_but you were washed,_* but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Timothy 1:5 NASB95 But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart *_and a good conscience_* and a sincere faith.

I think John MacArthur's point is that Jesus' blood represents His perfect, sinless, righteousness as the God-Man - and His mission was to die as the perfect once and for all sacrifice as the Lamb of God. Just as a Lamb shed its blood in a sacrifice. Jesus' blood has a miraculous, supernatural quality to it. But the point is, this utterly Good, sinless, completely righteous Son of Man, who was completely Holy, died on a cross. The Son of God drinking the cup of God's wrath is what atoned for sin - He shed his blood, He gave up His life, He took God's wrath that was due for me. Propitiation - Wrath appeased. Blood was required, blood was given. The blood = His death. Without His death, yes the blood is miraculous itself, but He had to die. Thats what makes Him the Lamb of God.

If John had a certain point, then he should have stated it more clearly. I’m not trying to come off rude, but he really wrote off the blood in his response here. The blood does not equal his death. In order for the propitiation to be properly exacted, Jesus had to bleed AND die. God required both. Nonetheless, we do not trust in either/or. He saves us when we believe He did it all for us, and that we receive eternal life in Him. - Trent

All of our sins are washed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ when " saved " or born again furthermore, cannot be unborn again. When saved Ephesians 5:30 " For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones." Kjv That cannot be broken.

It is Jesus who saves. That is why He is called the Savior. Cleansing of His blood for our sin is one of the consequences of believing in and on Jesus as God and Savior for everlasting life. Other consequences are: we become new creatures in Christ, God becomes our Father, we become God's children, we receive the gift of everlasting life, all sins are forgiven, we receive Jesus' Righteousness, and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I believe in once save always save, but if I have sin I need to repent and confess that sin to God so that I will be forgiven. Because Jesus Christ died for all my sin but I need to repent and believe in Jesus Christ as my LORD and Savior.

What about all those dirty nasty little sins that we forget about? We have a forgetful memory. God remembers everything. Jesus Christ does not make a trip to the cross every time we sin. All the sins of all who will believe were paid for on the cross. even the ones we forget about.
