It’s kind of ironic that Debb would be uncomfortable with the “X-Rated” talk on Kucha when she’s literally a prison warden.

Just got my hubby into watching Survivor, he wanted to see how the old seasons went so we just finished watching it last night. We’ve had a lot of fun talking about outside info I know and secrets on more recent seasons and he was JUST asking me if I knew any other outside info about Australia and I didn’t. Can’t wait to show him this video! 😊

I’m rewatching the old seasons too! I used to watch them with my Mom, and I’m kind of… reliving the memories with her on days that I miss her, since she passed. Man, she did NOT like Jerri. 😂 I think it’s really cool that so many people are rewatching the old seasons for whatever reason; I’m glad they’re more easily available!

This is in my top 10 all time seasons, and It’s crazy how well it holds up. It was the most watched series of the 2000-2001 television season, averaging some crazy 30 million viewers a week! The Colbster will always be one of my favorites, and Jerri will always have my heart- that wicked temptress could always make a hershey bar out of me! 😉

Colby’s flag move was just ~chef’s kiss.~ “While I dry-heaved in a sack,” is not something I expected to hear IN A SONG in this video. 🤣 DANG Rudy is brutal!! 🫣 I grew up not too far from where Tina’s from, and yeah, the accents can be syrup-thick down here. 😂 If my mom wasn’t a radio person and then an on air reporter for a while I’d probably have a more pronounced accent as well! Now that Season 43 is over, I’m going back to my rewatches. On to season 3! 😁

I still say Kel is innocent. They never actually saw the beef jerky. They might've thought they saw, but we saw in the show that they didn't see it, so at best it's still possible, but there's no hard evidence. Grass in Australia can be brown, so it's plausible that he was chewing on grass.

I can't remember exactly what was said.. but I've seen interviews from the cast, including Kel, and I remember thinking "oh yeah he had beef jerky" lmao
@YoshiDryBones
@YoshiDryBones Жыл бұрын
It's his word against Colby, Amber, Tina, Jerri, and Varner's, who all claim they caught him doing suspicious things that could've been beef jerky related in the pregame and during the game. Sure we'll never get the real answer to jerky-gate, but just based on how weird Kel acted about the whole thing once the game was over, I side with those who think he did have it.
@b.k.9797
@b.k.9797 Жыл бұрын
The thing with kel is he changed his story to the cast and then offered his razors as a way to make them stop being suspicious of him. He told them that he was chewing on grass and when they mentioned he was chewing on something brown, he went with tree bark instead.

That interview with Debb was heartbreaking. Yea, marrying your stepson is weird, but not illegal, and not worth the turmoil she went through from appearing on the show. Survivor was more of a circus back then.

Hearing her talk at the reunion was even harder to watch. Absolutely heartbreaking. I never understood why people felt the need to like viciously attack strangers over what they do in their personal, private lives.

Plus it wasn’t a case of grooming either considering her stepson was raised by his mother and they never met until he was already an adult, at his father’s funeral. Not trying to say it isn’t weird either, but I also think Debb deserves a bit of a break for the situation.
@evanprince3875
@evanprince3875 Жыл бұрын
@@b.k.9797 exactly, you can't groom an adult who's fucking 30 already. People need to chill out, it's not her biological son, he's basically a complete stranger to her when they meet. It must be hard, to loose your husband and then meet a man who makes you feel the same way he did, but all of society tells you you can't be with him because, he's technically your stepson, but you've never met before and have no blood relation. It's wack ass shit to me, but then again at that time people pitched a fit about gay people existing so what can you expect.

Ambers dream eventually came true, Colby was probsts favorite at one point, Tina was originally an alternate for this season because like they said the original plan was to skydive into the Outback however was scrapped because of insurance & safety reasons the original woman in Tina’s spot her name is rumored to be Maureen backed out because she was too scared to skydive

Ya.... something is a little off with Debby, married her ex husbands son, and then when x-rated talk came up. it looked more like Debb was embarassed, not trying to stay quiet. A little odd, but I guess everyone has different ideas of what should stay private.
@andrewfutterman3346

13:57 - I can understand why they decided not to do the skydiving, but what was the purpose of flying the plane around so everyone got airsick instead? Was it simply to get a shot of Elizabeth Hasselbeck with a barf bag, knowing she would be remembered for being the "cute girl" on that season? They did something similar in Marquesas. The first shot of Sarah Jones (the "hot girl" on that season) was her puking into a bucket, knowing that later she'd be remembered for her arrival on their beach being "almost like Cleopatra." But on that season, they were understandably seasick, due to the rough water. Same thing with a lot of the seasons where they arrived via boat/raft. Oh and let's not forget about Tanya in Thailand, who was very cute yet had probably one of the most graphic barf scenes on Survivor, though that was after they had already been on the island and she became dehydrated. Same thing with Jessie in Africa. She also was extremely gorgeous, yet was shown getting sick and vomiting, which she was ultimately voted out for. But purposely making the Australia contestants sick, when they already would have to face being dehydrated due to not having fire in order to boil water and potentially vomiting anyway (like Varner), makes no sense.

Idc what anyone says.. I feel so bad for Debb. People were relentless like yeah its a strange situation, but we don't know them and we don't know what they have like who am I to judge these strangers who aren't causing any harm to anyone? Just bc you think something is weird doesn't mean you have to like viciously attack someone. It was hard to hear her talk about how her life was going at the reunion.

I’m not surprised that they almost skydived at the start of the first episode to be honest. As for all the people whining and complaining about the show staying in Fiji, they need to suck it up and STFU. They’ve been filming down there for so long now that it would be a bigger hassle to move production to a different country at this point. Not to mention it’s FUCKING GORGEOUS and like it was said in this video, it’s cheaper to film there as they don’t have the same budget like they used to.
