Absolute classic film! Love how the waxing scene is all real, hence Steve's agony, and Paul and the others trying not to laugh. The scene where Paul and Seth are playing Mortal Kombat was also all improv, just goes to show how quick and funny they are.

Steve Carell actually nearly lost a nipple during the chest-waxing scene when the actress playing the waxer (Who lied to the casting department about being a professional waxer) forgot to put vaseline on the nipple (You have to put vaseline on the nipple when you wax around the nipple). And also, Steve Carrell's reactions to getting wax were real. But nevertheless, the chest-waxing scene will always be the most legendary and classic scene in this movie! 😆😄😅😆😄😅

Steve Carell's The Office character is legendary but totally different than his 40-Year-Old Virgin character. He is FANTASTIC in The Office. His big break was Bruce Almighty- That's one you should put in your polls. "Crazy, Stupid, Love" was also one of his best roles- great movie. You should definitely put the "Despicable Me" trilogy on your animated MUST list. He's excellent in those movies. He's not in Minions (which is skippable anyway) but he's in the new Minions (The Rise of Gru) coming out in a few weeks.

I saw this movie in the theater back in the day and I absolutely loved it. I remember when I the ending came up with the singing I was thinking wtf is this and laughed so hard. This is such a great movie and it's one I watch at least every year since it came out. I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend.

That waxing scene....ugh. i saw a video with the director saying that it was a real waxing session for him. All that really went down. And that speed dating... got suckered into doing that once with a buddy. And he never showed. So i was at a relatively upscale bar in South Tampa with no wingman meeting like 15 girls. Only two were worth connecting with (just as friends, but still), but the three of us went to get concerts, barcrawls, and some holiday stuff.

I was a virgin until 28. Man do I regret my first two girls. Both were major nymphos and I was so desperate for sex that I didn't even realize it until later on. Then I met my wife and sex felt way different. She had only had sex three times before. Guess I am saying is be careful who you have sex with. Especially if your look for long term relationships. Some don't want a relationship and just want sex. Some want sex but also want a relationship. Granted it all depends of course on what your into. The first girl I was with said she had been with about 40+ guys an she was only 26 and had two kids from two fathers. The seconds girl had around the same amount of guys and while dating me I found out she had twelve other men she was also dating. Just felt awkward.
