There was 2 different ls1 motors , yes Ill be that guy. Get your ls1 book you’ll know the history of it. And what in 2001-2002 they came with ls6 intake manifolds etc.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz don’t get me wrong the later generation cat fish Camaro is the better looking car compared to its pre face lifted version but the LS engines are so common it’s basically impossible to stand out especially an whole meet up with people who would have the same set up as you 😳 I find the LT1 that originally came in this car to be the more interesting car even tho the LT1 is also limiting 😢 it would have been nice if gm made it easier to swap in an L98 sbc 350 but they didn’t 😭

Nah man the catfish camaro is too ugly, only good for ripping out the t56 trany and throwing it in something that won’t make your wife cry from seeing it in her driveway

No sir. The 4th gen camaro never came equipped from the factory with an LS1. The C5 was the first car to get it in the 90s and was the only vehicle to get it until they launched the truck edition in 2000. The camaro was equipped with an LT1 engine until 2010 when it got the LS2.
