I am not a synthetic material guy, but there is a time and a place for everything. Shorts is where I can let some nylon into my life. The Patagonia Baggies are pretty much the best shorts for most guys. They are lightweight, actually short and have a netting inside so they can be used as trunks. If you got more money and are a bit shopping savvy, try Gramicci shorts. They have all the merits of the Patagonias, but are made to a higher standard. They also have a built-in belt.

Patagonia Baggies Long/Light/Original for messing around in. If you want to travel and carry stuff like passports, phone and wallets securely then Rohan clothing (who have been going since 1972) always have a good selection shorts.

@Stridewise i also have ond of their travel gym bags, ace sweat pants for long plane travel and one of their polo shirts. overall their stuff is nice but a little price. also their xknit underwear is very very nice

Maybe I am old but find it weird to see strings and no belt loops on shorts :) The apres and 365 shorts look sharp to me.

That's a very fair observation, I really only dress casually (no suits on my channel) so I don't mind them but I can understand preferring the belt loops!

Good video, Nick! Linen is a nice material, but it wrinkles if you look at it wrong. If someone could figure out a way to keep it from wrinkling without ruining it's other good qualities, they would make a fortune. Looks like hemp has the same problem. Sorry to hear about your shrinking and expanding butt problem!!

All my shorts are jeans levis 501 short ,cut off samurai and cut off iron horse 😆......next should be cut off chino and cut off trousers 😅...

The Taylor Stitch Après shorts are incredible. I have a 34" waist and got the medium and still have some leeway with the tie string. They are airy and cool like linen and super tough. They are so comfortable I sleep in them occasionally.
