What about if someone can’t tolerate the sides of fin? Then what? Maybe do a video on possible alternatives

There really isn’t an excellent alternative. …only other thing that might work would be trying topical dutasteride with oral minoxidil and seeing if that keeps your hair stable and track it over about a year. That said, there is no medical evidence of permanent side effects from finasteride. So, if it was me, I would maybe take less finasteride if I felt I had to based on my body’s reaction, or see if my body gets used to it after a while. Side effects are quite rare though (here’s an article that sites the literature www.locklab.co/blog/finasteride-the-lowdown-down-low )

@@GetLocklab thank you for taking the time to reply. Personally speaking I’ve been on topical finasteride for 6 years and so far it’s been enough to stabilise my hair loss, helped by microneedling which I believe makes it much more effective. I know there’s people that can’t tolerate fin, one of my good friends has been on it for a couple of years..led to severe depression and low libido and ED, he vows never to take it again. I’m just hoping that in the near future that there’s another effective treatment which would suit my friend and many other people

Is it True that oral minoxidil causes Skin Aging and a higher risk of heart disease? Finasteride works well for me But I‘m Not Sure if I should also use minoxidil. Topicals are in the Long run way to annoying for me. Best regards :)

There are hundreds of thousands of guys safely taking oral minoxidil for hair loss. I personally take it, and I wouldn’t be if I thought it was going to cause my skin to age prematurely or give me a higher risk of heart disease.

@@Felix5538yes, it does age you. Especially around the eyes. You need to moisturize to combat it. And it’s bad for the heart. He’s not being honest with you
