Bro I watched this shit after hitting a fucking plug play and saw that shit while also understanding the analogy, it’s simply just piers fault cuz obviously he can’t keep focus as after one blunder he basically threw the rest of the game and made moves which I did not see to have any value at all they seemed empty, and that’s coming from someone who baked as fuck rn

I think his analogy of the queen and why it can move all the way across the board was pretty close, in history many queens have abandoned their kingdoms for a new one through marriage in one quick stroke, where as a king usually takes things by force one square at a time.

Actually, the queen is so powerful in comparison for the king to reflect the power of Isabella of Spain vs Ferdinand of Aragon, who married and ruled Castille in the XV century. Both were avid chess players and changed the rules of the game that had been brought to Europe by the moors of Al Andalus.

I did the same thing with my friend that Tate did with capturing the queen, i placed my knight threatening the queen while talking to my friend, he obvioulsly fell for that. The greatest thing about Knights are, you really don't see their threats because of their weird moving style, that's why knights are the greatest pieces in chess. Everybody would say it's the queen but I disagree, Knights are the best.

@@whitecrayon3281 Yeah, Knights are an excellent piece for forks. It's easy to shatter the confidence of beginners and intermediates once you find a perfect fork and take out the queen. Cuz most of the people are relying too much on their queens.
