Po's backstory is the only animated character's backstory that genuinely made me shed a tear.

Honorable mention should be Jack Frost. He drowned in a lake and everyone forgot about him.

Megamind is the last of his kind and was in prison for no reason. Leading to villainy Alex somehow survived the ocean. Fiona has her parents trap her… Hiccup is bad at fighting dragons, and befriends one. Po’s species was presumably wiped out!

And Jim Lake Jr. He have to protect both worlds and hes fatherless he lost his bff,father,lover and all of his love ones and he gave away his humanity just to save all. Netflix show name: Trollhunters (I really really recommend)

Starting with Moses, at the beginning of the film, Pharaoh Seti orders infanticide to be carried out, so he sends his guards to steel babies from all the Hebrew mothers and have them be killed. Yocheved, who is Moses's mother along with her daughter, Miriam, and her son, Aaron, takes him to the Nile and place him in a basket. His mother sings a lullaby to him, kisses her child and desperately sends him down the river, in the hopes that he will find sanctuary somewhere else. The basket finds it's way to the royal palace and is found by Queen Tuya, who smitten with the child she finds within and decides to keep him. Miriam, who followed the basket to the palace, finds her brother in a place of safety and prays that he will return to deliver the Hebrews out of Egypt. Years later, when Moses see his brother and sister again, Miriam sings the same lullaby that his original mother sang to him as a baby. He recognizes that tune and runs back to the palace in confusion. When he falls asleep God showed him on what Seti has done. When Moses wakes up, he's shocked to find a carving of Seti ordering all the Hebrew women to be thrown into the Nile on the wall, just as he had in the dream. Pharaoh Seti explains why he did this and tells him that "They were only slaves". Moses starts fearing him and runs off in horror and disgust. In the next scene, when he is sitting at the spot where he was found as a baby, Queen Tuya tells him that he is their son and they loved him. She finished the conversation by telling Moses that "when the gods send you a blessing, you do not ask why it was sent". His later discovery of his own identity paves the way for a tragic conflict between him and his brother figure, Ramses. And as for Joseph, he gets sold into slavery by his own brothers, then he has a master who trusted him, was betrayed again when the wife falsely accuses him of assaulting her, gets sends to the dungeons and stays there for two years, then after getting married, power and saving Egypt, he has to face the trauma that his brothers left with him, realize he never got to say goodbye to his mother before she died, then FINALLY get the closure he needed when they admit what they did to him and show remorse.
