Great Video! I know for new agents ExP charges an extra 20% commission for the mentorship program. I also know you get 3 personal deals a year. So if I signed up and my first transaction was a personal property, I would get 80% of the commission?

Hi Kyle - you mention that Fathom was the best for part time agents, but didn't speak to why particularly you recommend them for the part time agent vs other brokerages. I love that they do the fixed fee commission - but am curious why they are good for part time agents. Also, i've heard lots of videos suggest EXP as great for part time agents. Can you share your thoughts on EXP vs Fathom specifically referencing part time agents? Do other brokerages like KW (which I am considering as a new agent) not work well with part time agents? Thanks so much for any insight you can provide!

Fathom is not for 'part time' agents. Its like saying KW etc is for part time agents. Not sure why he said that. I left KW as a top producer for Fathom, I'm not part time, lol

Fathom is now 6th and not for part timers. I couldn’t understand your rating system until I realized you work with EXP which is why you rate your company 1st. Good hustle.

Exp is only as good as your sponsor- no one else cares about you! Definitely not for new agents!!!

Yes and no. Sponsor makes a huge difference IMO. However, my sponsor left the company when I was only here for 6 months. Yes, I've still managed to make some of the best friends and mentors within the company. Regarding not good for new agents, I have many agents who were new join me and are extremely productive today. Some are even ICON agents doing well over 30 transactions per year within their first 2-3 years... It's all what the individual agents makes of the opportunity. The same can be said for any brokerage though. Those successful agents would have been successful anywhere they would have went. So it's not necessarily eXp but I will say eXp won't hinder the ability to be successsful as a new agent either...

Pick whichever one you feel has the best support and training possible. This is the most important thing in the beginning of your career. "well-known" doesn't matter as much as you'll need to focus on making a good name for youself as the agent/lender. Good luck!

KW has historically been a great brokerage for new agents as their training is second to none. However, eXp has amazing training opportunities as well as a great mentorship program, making it another great option for new agents.

@@movingtopalmbeach What the stock is valued at today the difference has been about 400k. Yes that is 400k in just 4 years. We are no where near the best in the company either. Remax gave nothing after leaving the company. At least we are awarded stock, revenue share opportunity, and huge healthcare savings with EXP. I am not knocking Remax either... we really liked our broker a lot and the other agents that were with the company. Although it wasn't easy...the money difference was too substantial to not make the switch to EXP.

I’ve never personally been there but talking with agents it seems as though it’s expensive and a bit older school. Not knocking the entire company. Every franchise can obviously be ran differently but that’s the overall impression I get.

The 1866 Civil Rights Act makes it illegal to discriminate in the selling, transferring and leasing of real property based upon a person's race or color. There are no exceptions.
