Well the biggest guy in my club can be considered mountain he is around 2m tall(maybe a bit less) weights around 110kg(maybe more) and literally has mountain in his second name(part of his second name contains word "góra" which means mountain in polish I won't give his full second name because well privacy reasons) And well the second biggest(not heaviest because in my club there are many guys that weight around 100kg) is a bit shorter and weight 90kg Oh I forgot to mention that they are also very strong While the first one can turn you into human puppet then second one atleats gives you chances to not tap And speaking about those guys that weight around 100kg then it's good as long as they won't be on top

I'm 1.96 m (6'5) 100 kg (220 lb) and the others at my club are around 10 cm shorter and 10 kg lighter than me. The other day I was rolling with a kid who was 70 kg at best, he passed my guard went into side control so I grabbed his leg and bridged. He literally went flying and I thought "OK this is not fair"

There's the 1. Football guy white belt that does it to improve his rugby tackling 2. The pretty boy blue belt with the hot gf that comes to see him roll in tournaments. He can often be seen wearing sunglasses in his gi at the mall or riding his R6 Yamaha 3. There's the social media hero purple belt that dreams of being a master one day ;) 4. The brown belt that thinks he's a black belt cause he teaches the kids but never goes to tournaments. 5. There's the untouchable black belt instructor that never rolls with other black belts cause he'll get beaten and sticks to the white and blues. 6. There's the old guy blackbelt with so many injuries he just does it to stay fit these days and everyone is scared to roll with him cause you might hurt him, I'll add one more due to popular demand 7. Beware the old black belt who's built like a bear, totally unfit and has no technique but if he gets you in a neck crank with his old man strength he will crack your vertebraes without a second thought lol

So i just feel called out. Also my school is a mixed art school not just bjj, also I'm a 2nd dan black belt in my system, not a brown.

If you honestly go into BJJ with very little ego (you will always think you're better than you are in the beginning) and you have a good bjj gym then bjj will completely change your life for the better. Not everyone will become a monster in bjj and some don't have thr attributes to pick up on every technique but man bjj can teach you to be humble, how to overcome obstacles, build your cardio, and make you some lifelong friends. Our gyms motto is teaching good people great jiu-jitsu 👍.

My only concern i have is ego. I only rolled a couple times, but I do have a style of wrestling background. Ego i think is the most serious issue in training facilities. Instead of working , alot of people try to show off by hurting people which discourages people to either go to another school or quit altogether. I remember training for a something and I went to a school here in Vegas so I could try to use Jiu-jitsu techniques. There was a guy I rolled with and he made it a point to RNC me and of course I tapped. Needless to say that RNC gassed him out while I was good to go cardio wise and wasn't even winded. I personally don't want to go to multiple schools when I start training in Jiu-jitsu. I want my Jiu-jitsu to have a " home " if that makes sense. As stated, I think ego is the most serious issue when training in disciplines especially with mma or Jiu-jitsu. Peace ✌☮
