I dunno,,........ I still feel that the Toyota Supra has the most sleek and captivating body shape of any car ever made.

It's not that they quit making them in 98, they just stopped importing them. 02 was the last year they were made, they just weren't in the US

Well, it's been my friend since 1999, but it's now time to say goodbye to my '97 Anniversary Supra. Monies were paid, title has been transferred. I wish the new owner a very happy experience... Titan and others did a lot of work on this car, and it's truly one-of-a-kind in my book. Won't soon forget you !!

This is my favorite car of all time. Every racing game I pick the supra as soon as I unlock it.

My 2JZ-TT was 42,547 -- paid cash for it in 97 (what a fucking amazing year). RMM pimped it out, got it up to 480 lb/ft (dyno...despite my intuition that the front mount doesn't really get as much off a fan as traveling through air provided). Best upgrade I did was still by far the A032 Yokos...they got better wet traction than my sport-pilots got in dry weather....and dry traction was worth the 5k miles I'd get from a set. Drove that thing like a proper terrorist.

That interior is perfect with that green.

I think today more than ever is a car like this really appreciated. It’s been nearly 9 years since this was filmed and we now have 1,000bhp, instant torque, ultra fast accelerating electric cars, yet even still this is what a car is really about! We all knew these cars would become classics but now that they are, they seem even more special than ever before. Maybe it’s just that I’m just getting old, and like the older generations claim ‘their’ era cars are the best/last of the greats, but my oh my is a car like this a real dream car for me. Get one quick ladies and gentlemen as these will soon be knocking on 6 figures. Whatever the next 9 years has to come, I’m sure these will still be loved and adored by many.

I'm proud to say that I fell in love with the Supra 6 years before F&F ever came out my mom drove one home on her lunch one day when she worked in finance for Toyota and I've been hooked ever since. I just bought a 93 about 2 weeks ago but its having issues passing shaken (Japanese car inspection) because the previous owner ruined it by putting a veilside kit on it -_- but never the less OEM parts aren't hard to come by so I'm in the process of reverting back to stock. The prices on Supras are on the rise even here in Japan, I just happen to luck up and pay 8k for mine because nobody wanted it with the Veilside kit lol.

I had the Pilot Super Sports on my 4G Eclipse and I absolutely love the grip! He is right, the best tire money can buy.

Had no idea he made a show here. I pass Titan every single day on the way to my job down the street. You will always see lambo's GTR's, etc all sitting there as you go by. Top notch shop but I hear very pricey.

Matt I love your show but the one thing that grinds my gears is your confusion of boost thresh hold and lag. You can't expect the turbo to spool quickly when you're at 2k rpm in 4th gear off the bat because now you have the trans as a variable so it's no longer turbo lag. Keep up the great videos though! This is just something minor that sticks out to me lol.

It is my Dream to own this car since I saw this car the first time in Need For Speed Underground. I was like 14 years old back then. Now I found a job and have saved 2k already and pit them to the side. At least 28 k to go ( more likely about 13 k then takin a credit) to buy this 20 year old japanese car. Abid Hodžić because the stock twin turbos do not flow enough air to support no more than 450-500hp. a BIGGER single turbo, provides enough airflow for as much power as you want. aftermarket twin turbo setups are expensive, complex, and with technology advancing all the time.... there is no longer such thing as turbo lag, especially when you can the engine to 8000-9000rpm but you would know that if you knew more about cars.

My dad actually has 1 of 21 special edition Royal Sapphire Pearl Supra that will be pushing around 700hp once we get the rebuilt 2JZ back into it.

All the dislikes are honda fanboys that are jealous that Hondas will NEVER touch a supra.

He explained it perfect at the end not overkill, tastefull set of wheels, no body kits, new seats, suspension and enough horsepower to go to the track and have fun.

I've never been into Supras, maybe it's because people I know only talk about the 'riced up' versions. But this, this I like. Just a very smooth, fast car packed with quite some HP. Love the one featured in this video. Great stuff, drive.

15 year old original cam seal? So a shop like that did all that work on that engine to make 700 HP and they didn't replace all the seals? I don't believe that. And the tech is using a pry bar on the cam gear teeth to hold it in place. Not good...

It was featured on Modified Magazine Front Cover. I can't find it on the website, but damn is it a beauty Matt! Sick and I just wanna see another clip of the Classic JDM ride such as the FD! It has a clean set up in the engine bay with a set up by Walker Morgan at MPFab. V mount intercooler and clean Bottom engine mount peaking out! Got to see it Matt!

People complain about turbo lag at low rpms but why not downshift into the higher rpms? No expert hear but I don't get the complaints. The only time it would really bother me (and has in my speed 3) is in first gear when I can't downshift. And even then the speed 3 is has enough torque to move anyway.

I know its a stupid question, but is that noise a blow off valve? If so, why does it sound so unique?

30 years on. The A80 Supra has proven to be a timeless masterpiece. With the right bodykit, wheels and aero along with a modern paint colour. The car is set to be current and modern. Thus timeless.

It's refreshing to see a Supra with no window tint, a stock body, and respectable stance. Loved it.

This is def the way to go as far as building a Supra for the street that u can actually enjoy on a daily basis. More than enough power to have fun and keep everything well balanced. Clean lines with good suspension. Wow I'm in love with this car. Only thing is maybe I'd get it in another color lol

Great review on the iconic 90's tuner car and rival to the Nissan Skyline, the Toyota Supra. I like usuable power.

This single video introduced me to what the Supra is all about. Fast And Furious may have been the first ever media creation to display the Supra`s true colors but realistically having a stock looking one with buckets of power is better than having one all dressed up with a little extra horsepower. That is why I always come back to this video.
