Quitting alcohol is slowly becoming the next quitting smoking. This will take some time, as alcohol is so highly promoted in the advertising industry as well as feeding the government pockets. Good luck and become an ex drinker.

Hey Kevin ,, I wanted to say thank you. I found you on you tube about three months ago. I have been alcohol free ( keeping the booze out of my mouth) for the three months with two slip ups... I listened to you're reasoning on you don't have to start all over again,, I agreed and I did just that,, I feel happy,, clear headed and a lot of good stuff. It's not easy but it's not hard,, it is up to us always..... I watch you're videos everyday they keep me going ,, anyway thanks again I look forward to more videos ,,,,,,,,, Val )

Was going strong for 6,5 months, had a three week setback, (I have a long history of drugs&alcohol issues) but now back on the sober train. Persistence will prevail! Thanks for all your videos Kevin, you really cover all aspects of this journey. So let's go, onwards & upwards!

I stopped drinking alcohol and smoking cigarets since September 2016. Simple conclusion: I feel much better and much more healthy. Alcohol en tobacco should be forbidden.

I really appreciate your videos, your input on the topic. You have the right idea. So much of what you have said has to to with being well, doing what it takes to be well, getting better, is pro life, and is about doing what it takes to get better, rather than drinking alcohol as a means to feel better. Thank You!

Thanks..exactly what keeps me focused ..my goals and what I'm shooting for, what I want to create, do, be and have doesn't include drinking. From a book I read recently talks about being a level 10 success in different areas of your life. A level 10 is not a regular drinker...im going for level 10 😉

Great advice Kevin," if nothing changes, nothing changes" a very true saying. Your so right it's 100 percent commitment, strength, persistence and a total will to succeed. But the rewards are magical and endless. Onwards and upwards much love to all StayStrong 👆✊👊

Kevin, you are so helpful in times of trouble. The only quibble is that one might begin with unrealistic goals and life, as Tom Petty wrote, is a long road. And on that road you might have to readjust your aims. Tx again! Some days feel easy and some days present challenges. Your talk encompassed it all. Building bridges is very much part of what you do. It's wonderful to hear from other people fighting this calamity (which doesn't need to be one.)

These were derived initially from Plato's scheme (see Protagoras 330b, which also includes piety (hosiotes)); expanded on by Cicero, and adapted by Saint Ambrose, Augustine of Hippo, and Thomas Aquinas (see Summa Theologica II(I).61). The term "cardinal" comes from the Latin cardo or hinge; the cardinal virtues are so called because they are the basic virtues, required for a virtuous life Prudence - ability to judge between actions with regard to appropriate actions at a given time Justice - the perpetual and constant will of rendering to each one his right[1] Temperance or Restraint - practicing self-control, abstention, and moderation; tempering the appetition Fortitude or Courage - forbearance, endurance, and ability to confront fear, uncertainty and intimidation The cardinal virtues are a set of four virtues recognized in the writings of Classical Antiquity and, along with the theological virtues, also in Christian tradition. They consist of:
