Auntie Junie Pederson has spent many decades cooking at stock camps at cattle stations all around Australia's wild Kimberley region. In this video she and her old friend Roy Wilson make one of Junie's famous Kimberley stock camp stews..

Love how she just casually says she'd get someone to shoot a roo if they needed more stew meat. Classic.

After watching, I immediately followed the recipe, with salt and pepper only for seasoning, and the result was one of the most hearty meals that my family have ever had. The soup is the best part. I highly recommend this and hereby express our hearty thanks.

I do believe that's at least one star Kimberley cooki'n. Time for a new standard, food that satisfies , and then then those say yes. We enjoyed our meal together .Then 2 stars. And then 3 Star, no a million star, evening together !

For other Americans like me, apparently ABC sauce is an Indonesian product that is some type of sweet soy sauce. I think it's sweetened with palm syrup. I went to the company website and they have a lot of different kinds...sweet, salty, spicy etc. Wish they had mentioned what they used here.
