Was worried they wouldnt do the book justice but holy shit, everything about that series was so haunting and powerful. They expanded on everything that made the book great.

This song perfectly summarizes Camille, going from innocence to overwhelming nausea, to the more post rock that she listens to throughout the show.

Joe Nugent I personally had to do a lot of research after watching. I decided to read the last few chapters of the book to see what the killer’s (I won’t say for the sake of not spoiling) motivation was...it also wasn’t explained very well in the book too and I couldn’t bother reading it from the beginning lol, and it hit me like a bomb and it was all answered. Kinda disappointed Gillian Flynn didn’t develop the plot twist that well-we’re left sitting there with a bunch of ‘why’s’ and ‘who’s’

@@cheechee6473 when the show came out my sister bought the book after the 1st episode and skipped to the end to see who the killer was. It was the hardest thing I've done regarding her to convince her not to spoil who it was. I don't understand why people do that. Why ruin the ending by reading it first? So annoying
@crazytidy24263 жыл бұрын
@@cheechee6473 to be fair the show is more of a character study than a "who done it." I've noticed that's something that Flynn does a lot, utilizing typical crime film plots to twist them into in-depth character studies full of commentary. If you view the show for what it set out to do, it's near perfect.

The little animal sounds in the background are just 🤌🏾 chefs kiss. I’ve never heard anything like this before. It gives you a such an out of body experience listening to this masterpiece, like you’re watching yourself in the third person or somethin.. Idk how else to explain it, but I am SO so so happy I finally decided to watch Sharp Objects. I knew I was gunna be in for some serious shit because miss Gillian Flynn does not hold back with shedding light on violence; especially against women, and I really admire her for that. That women aren’t just seen as this innocent, unassuming, non-threat to others. Anyone is capable of depravity, you just have to be in the right circumstance. I will now be reading the book and watch the show all over again, because I didn’t realize just now many clues there would be throughout the show, and will definitely be on the lookout for those!!

Karlita Marysol Rquelme. Listening to things with a clear mind and body will bring you the closest to the mindset of the artist. If it comes from the heart, it's felt in the heart. Inebriation will only cloud your minds eye and souls heart...
@vivian84745 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Sobriety is clouded with expectations, distracting thoughts of past and future, revelations and distaste. The delicate effects of substances elevate the mind beyond its earthly tether, and add new dimensions and elements to music which allow one to not only hear the music, but also to feel, see, and understand it. That my friend, opens the minds eye.
