Your theory checks out. Best I’ve heard so far. Tons of supplemental media was created during and post prequels. We’re gonna repeat that strategy moving forward. This may be one of the best shows to right the ship. That’s my hope, anyway.

Here we go again. When we first saw Kylo Ren many fans suggested a connection between him and Darth Revan. When we saw Marrok fans thought he was Starkiller. When are fans going to learn? I do want to see an origin story for the Knights of Ren, but I don't think this is it.

I really hope they throw Canon out of the window so obsessive people can melt down. Canon is such a religious way to keep order.

As much of an irrelevant letdown The Knights Of Ren ended up being...if the Dark Side Users in this particular story end up being one of the earlier representations of them or Ren Himself, that would be an interesting twist. However, it never made sense to me that Lord Darth Vader encountered them around the time of The OT, and he didn't eradicate them. Silly. Now, if this order were part of The Acolytes Of The Beyond, as well as an aspect or cooperative of The (EU's) Prophets Of The Dark Side/The Secret Order Of The Emperor (most importantly, including the characters, Kadann, Jedgar, and Azrakel), THAT would be incredibly cool, intriguing, and satisfying. However, sadly, I wonder if Our collective ideas and theories might end being better than what we'll ultimately get in June.
