I sold my modded GE-7 and got myself the Nux stageman floor acoustic preamp. It has reverb and chorus built in as well as the usual EQ etc. Nice pedal with lots of features for the £££.

Very good demo!!! I use 3 pedals that IMO are must have pedals for acoustic #1. Boss GE-7 amazing widely misunderstood how to use pedal (KZfaq is your friend on how find out how to use a GE-7) #2. Boss RV-6 so versatile for several reverb types and shimmer ambiance. #3. TC Polytune Mini tuner any floor tuner that allows you to mute is great. I couldn't hear anything that the AD2 would ad that you can't accomplish with the GE7 and RV6. A looper is always fun to play around with.

Thanks for the great review :)… I really like the AD-2 , but doesn’t the shape you introduced on the equaliser (by bringing down the mids) somewhat reverse what the AD-2 is doing? However, the AD-2 seems to add a slight chorus effect. many thanks.

Hey, is that Maton an ER90C? I have one and they sound amazing plugged in and acoustically. Great choice of guitar to demo pedals...

We were discussing this yesterday. It sort of "sweetens" the tone. It takes out some of the harsher frequencies and smooths it all out a bit. The improvement in tone is more prominent with cheaper acoustics that just have a simple piezo pickup.
