I relied heavily on Geo-Scatter addon by @bd3d to quickly fill my environments with vegetation, create environment masks and complete biomes. Such a versatile tool, and in my opinion, a must-have addon for every Blender user.

How's the performance with this addon? Usually using particle system with grass bogs down the system.

Its very well optimised and streamlined, with LODs and proxy objects to speed up the rendering and viewport workflow. Also, there are 2D tree libraries, those are very very fast.

Hi, I am very confused with this Addon Geo-Scatter and the Botaniq Addon. Do they do the same? What's their difference? I see that they have an option to use both, but doesn't Botaniq also have features to scatter the vegetation around? Sorry for all the questions, but I don't know which one to get :(
