0:10 "Hello! I'm Grandmaster Ben Finegold and you are NOT!" xD And he's right, he's a grandmaster and he's fine gold. Also I love that he's a Traxler player. Traxler Land really is the funnest thing chess has to offer.

Yeah this is one of my favorites. I'm rubbish too though. When I think of chess I think of this line actually. We played this crap a lot back in the 70s and 80's

Hello, low rated doofus here, at 6:49 when black checks white with the move bishop to f2, why can't the white king just take the bishop? I understand that he could be checked again and lose the pawn on e4, but he has a bishop which is worth 3 - and that's more than 1 according to GM BF. I don't think the king's safety is any lower, as he can tuck in next to the rook on g1 after taking the bishop, and he loses his right to castle even if he just moves to f1 (a move that doesn't prevent knight takes e4 either) Can a more experienced player please explain what I can't see - or is the board set up wrong, and Ben simply forgot that the black knight was on e4? (lol) Please help my brain hurts - thanks in advance to anyone coming to my rescue.

After Kxf2 and Nxe4, black enjoys a strong attack where white will need to give back material in the long run

After king takes bishop - Nxh4 both Kg1 & kf1 retreating moves are weak because Qh4 threatens mate in one on f2. White queen is the only one capable defending that square (e2, f3) and black has such moves as Nd4, Rf8 & Bg4(after d5) to give pressure to those squares.
