The original artwork fit perfectly & easily recognizable as your brand of Holmes but the new design is nice as well. The addition of the 🇬🇧 is a nice touch.

Absolutely excellent. Apart from superlative story telling, in depth background research, evocative narration, there is a wonderful nostalgic tone to this tale, very sympathetic characters, and the author's genuine affection for ACD's stories and protagonists shine through. So great to hear how sh, jhw, and Mr lestradt have done in later life. Just lovely. Plus lovely touches of humour and love the way the author has added his own take on the sh and jhw friendship. Delightful

At the time that this story is set attempted suicide was a capital offence. People were hanged if they survived the attempt. Holmes would not say "put it on my tab" he would say "account".
