Kimdino1 I just adore it when someone goes to the trouble of criticizing a fictional tv character in a tv show~ not even a long running series, either~ for the sheer self indulgent exercise of spreading their sad anti~ Christian agenda. And let's not forget that the TV character represents thousands of men and women all over the world who mostly do good for the people in their community. Wife beaters come in every walk of life. Did you actually know that?
@Kimdino12 жыл бұрын
@@Frenchblue8(& David McArthur) I am not criticizing a TV character, I am using the story as a morality tale. That is a tool greatly used by the Christian Churches. I agree many vicars do good work (as does diamorphine), but organised superstition industry does far more harm than good (also as does diamorphine). Are you advocating that we should all take heroine?. As for "sad anti~ Christian" - I am not anti-Christain, I am against all religion. Well, well. A collection of the most unlikeable characters ever assembled in a single series. Many familiar faces here, whose performances in other programs I've really enjoyed. What was it about this story? Was it the writing? The direction? Why did every single scene in this program set my teeth on edge? The cockroaches in the offices were a metaphor no doubt, but they should have been in the final shot before the fadeout. The good-looking hotshot lawyer was right to leg it out the door of that third-rate firm. I'm almost glad Kitchen's character got off. I ended up thinking his wife probably deserved it. Worst of all, they killed the dog. And, Rachel Weisz's character should have been dead, if the serial killer had been following his usual pattern. Would have served her boyfriend right for missing her concert. The killer had enough damned time to kill her before anybody got to the right place. He was a strangler, but suddenly he also had a shotgun, and a crackerjack aim. And, how in hell did he get to be tutor at a college with his sketchy past? Don't they do background checks in Scotland? There were more holes in this script than there are buskers in Edinburgh.
